When I look at my collection, I like to mention Chispa, Convinced, Chamberlain, Crooked Letters, Crush My Calm and the Split-7“ of the Capitol City Dusters with Aina as well as the Cable Car Theory 7“… I‘m already looking forward to the 7“s starting with the Letter D…

funny story about the Cortinas, their drummer moved to the SF bay area and was the drummer in the 90's in the band the Sneetches who were a Zombies-like pop/psych band (they have a few lps out and are worth finding). Since then he now runs a booking agency that books all the big cover/tribute bands and he's booked my tribute band. I've talked with him about Bristol and bands like the Pop Group who were contemporaries of the Cortinas. The 7' is great, I also have the subsequent LP which is more tame.
I'm Jealous of that cupid Car Club 7". You can't Go wrong with Ian Svenonius. What are your thoughts on the controversy, He was dropped from Merge Records..
