*In conventional egr system was controlled by a dedicated egr controller but in case of common rail injection system ,the engine controller unit comes in to action . *The egr controller or ems ecu both are tooks following parameters from respective sensors that is coolant temp, accelerator pedal position,engine rpm,vehicle speed, egr valve position etc then the egr controller or ems ecu consolidate that parameters and actuate the egr valve for a certain time as per the pre setted program. (Generally the Nox is formed under high temperature so the egr system tooks base data from app sensor and coolant temp sensor to know the situation)
