I'm really happy to get this video finished after being set back last week - Today you get 2 for 1 - Sidon’s theme AND Mipha’s theme! I couldn’t decide between them so I thought I would do them together. I really love how their themes are based on the same melody, but the orchestration and energy is so different!! It was really fun to contrast the difference between them for this video. I really enjoyed this part of BotW, though I haven’t finished it yet - no spoilers please!! Can’t wait to do more music from this game, I love it so much!

Wow! This is most beautiful prince sidon's and mipha's theme I have ever heard. GREAT WORK!
You can feel the difference between the two songs, Sidons feels powerful while Mipha’s seems more gentle and delicate
Actually it depends on interpretation. For me Sidon's can be perceived as sorrowful especially with the beginning bass notes on the dominant. But then again, I'm a musician. So it all depends.
Mipha’s theme is meant to sound really sad, because of a love story with her and the knight wielding the sword that seals the darkness
Mipha’s is depressing, Sidon’s pumps you up lol
The champoins are meant to he like opposites the their predecessors. For example, Teba is a lot more humble than Revali despite his pride. He is humble enough to see the skill of others. Mipha is a lot more soft-spoken and kid compared to her rambunctious younger brother.

Yunobo is not confident in his skills at all even tho he is talented and was born with a powerful ability, because of this he needs others to help him more than he can help them.

To be brutally honest, I think Link wouldn't really notice love. He looked very young then. And even when he was older, his destiny was very clear. He wouldn't have noticed, if not for the king telling him that. Sad, but that's my read on it.

The Zora have the best music probably in the entire game.
Zora's Domain theme is a relaxing theme for walking around a beautiful town
Sidon's Theme is a powerful yet gentle theme that perfectly captivates the assets of his personality
Mipha's Theme is bittersweet and tragic, like seeing an old friend for the last time before they leave again
Sidon is such a character - made me laugh every time he did his silly pose ^^ And Mipha was absolutely lovely. The most beautiful Zora ever. BTW, love your poster in the background ^^

Sidon’s theme always sounded sad yet like he had to put on his smile to cover up his sorrow after loosing his sister. He had to be strong for his people. Mipha’s sounds like the oxymoron sweet-sorrow. Mipha has such a sweet personality but she is sad because she never got to fulfill her duty or be useful to Link.

I feel so out. I didn't put an ear into Mipha's theme. I was too busy taking note of her design and her voice. honestly, her voice was quite a soothing tone that can put me into a drift in the sea.

At first, I felt uneasy because she is new to my presence and when I found out that she is a victim of the calamity, 100 years ago. I feel remorseful to that one for such kind-hearted individual. She has a charm that even I can't...resist.
Such is fate for the princess of the Zoras. After all, they chose the strongest people of their race. Mipha being the only zora that can heal. After I saved her I had actually came to the realization that both the champions and the divine beasts are basically one now.

I would've wanted to see Link with Mipha since Mipha was so kind and thoughtful. But nooo... Gandon had to intervene with Link's life. He killed his friends, destroyed his beloved home, obliterated his love interest and worst of all, took all of his precious memories. I payed respect for Mipha and the other champion's death by storing their equipment until I was finally prepared to beat the ever living life out of Ganon's putrid body. Still I'm kinda rooting for Mipha. I just hope she doesn't end up like the other forgotten love interests of Link in the past Zelda Games.
mipha got screwed over every which way its sad and i wished that she would end up with link. if you listen to vah ruta’s theme you can hear a faint tapping noise which is actually a distress call that mipha sent out so link could help her fight waterblight. but there was also a response which translated to S A D, or search and destroy. makes me tear up every time

In Japanese, solfeggio is Do Re Mi Fa So, La, Shi, Do…
Mi, Fa = Mipha
So, La = Zora
Shi, Do = Sidon
Beautiful pieces I never quite put together (I only started playing BOTW at the beginning of this year), but now listening, I hear a lot of “mi fa mi fa mi…” So appropriate that this theme is about Mipha and Sidon… also, “mi SO LA ti SO LA…” toward the end of the intro… I can’t quite hear “ti do” (Sidon) anywhere… but… also mi-fa and ti-do are both half-steps so I wonder if that means anything…
