This is absolutely one of my favorite themes from BotW, and I just love the character Kass as well :) This arrangement was inspired by the traditional Romantic era string quartet, a la Dvorak! Hope you enjoy it :D

Calamity Ganon is a joke. I first fought him with 13 or 14 hearts, and won handily. Get him to Dark Beast Ganon, and victory is all but assured.

Omg I had that in my party as a dance waltz along with a bunch of Japanese pop. People who know me know how much I added these types of themes to my wedding and parties. Love it!

amazing arrangement
Kass' song is to me, a throw back to all of the heavy music influenced Zelda games. The second I started hearing that tune in the game before I found the minstrel playing I started thinking about Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask instantly. I actually expected Kass to be one of the Champions. I was shocked when he wasnt.
I imagined like the King of Hyrule that he was a spirit of one of the dead Champions from 100 years ago guiding Link throughout the journey and that when we finally got to his divine beast it would be revealed he was the Champion all along.
This tune is just BEGGING for a rendition like this, and I'm so glad you were the one to do it. The energy behind it is intoxicating, and of course, excellent performances from both of you!

The beginning violin solo has such a mellow yet undescribable melody that is played beautifully. Instantly touched my heart. Has some elements of Kreisler incorporated there too. Wonderful rendition!

The tone and expressiveness of the sol G part at the beginning felt so reminiscent of Liebesleid by Kreisler. This is astounding arrangement and your ability to make the piece so expressive while still capturing the airiness of the original song is just completely awesome

Listening to your videos makes me want to go back to sixth grade and have picked orchestra. String instruments really seem like lots of fun. I'm a tuba player so using my left hand for notes, or just both hands seems like a big challenge. Maybe later in life I'll buy a viola or violin.

Kass is my second favorite character in BotW, (next to the other Rito, Revali) and you captured his music excellently. I know that this isn't a waltz, but it's a great one. I wonder about the people during that age hearing such a piece of music. Such an interesting character I met atop Gerudo Tower, one fine day...

Very stirring music, I first heard it, where else but atop Gerudo Tower. I like the character a lot. See him a lot at wetland stable, adds a twist to the regular stable music I like.

The silent end card is also a nice touch: I get that TH-cam all but forces y'all to add a "Like and subscribe!" message at the end, but it's nice to have a minute to let the piece sink in and doesn't disrupt the flow of a playlist (which this is definitely now on).

This arrangement is awesome and the sound quality is great! I enjoy listening to this very much but I must say though that it is always more fun to watch an ensemble play together when possible... Still thumbs up.
Thanks! Yeah, it would be more fun to play together but audio quality definitely wouldn't be as clear without recording in a studio...I also am a LOT more boring to watch if I am recording audio at the same time (we all are haha, moving around gets in the way of the mics) so I really think the performance comes out better this way

Easily my favorite music from BotW. There was obviously not that much music in the game in the way of long songs, more of a lot of sounds and stuff of that sort. I mean there was some, but not a lot of ones that stuck with me. I got absolute chills when you turned in the final Kass quest and he played the FULL version and the song had so much more to it as he added the LoZ theme in there .. Absolutely amazing. As I was playing the game, I always got excited hearing Kass playing in the distance .. Really loved your rendition and the tempo change to make it sound like a Waltz
