One of the downside to LED headlights. When they go bad you can't just replace the LED, you have to spend hundreds to buy a whole new headlight. Then most of the time also have to rip the whole front of the vehicle apart to replace it. Gone are the days that only takes a minute to change a bulb. Those headlights high beams were halogen because the previous body style use projector headlights, which made it very hard to install headlight flashers. So when they changed to that body style they switched back to a halogen bulb so a headlight flasher could be used.
