Nice
Thank you for the video. very informative, Bushido,
Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905),
Thank you for sharing about these principles concisely and articulately. I plan to do some more reading about this since you got me more interested.
Yosh !!
Thank you for sharing
My pleasure!
BUSHIDO - Moral Integrity, Courage, Benovolence, Respect, Honesty, Honour and Loyalty are character qualities and traits that many societies aspire to live by, but the Japanese have gone so much further and made it a way of life for centuries.
This code of behavior is difficult to achieve, requiring a true commitment.
As you say, if this were the practice around the world, there would be more Peace, Love and certainly more Smiling.
So we try… :)
Thank you! Indeed more Peace, Love!
Arigato for this interesting video! I really like stories about Samurais and Japanese history.
Thank you! Great to hear that :-)
Cannot believe I slept on this video. It is really nice.
Thank you!
By the way, my interest of Japan had took place in 2010 when I saw The last samurai movie with Tom Cruis. I also had read Hagakure and Hagakure Niumon
Wonderful!
🙏
Bushido has a very romantic and seductive side, but there are also a lot of negative things in Japan that find their origin in bushido, like the intense social pressure to conform, the glorification of self-sacrifice to the point of self-destruction, and the rigid hierarchical structures that can stifle individuality and promote discrimination based on rank and status.
Thank you for your comment. Everything has a negative side including individual freedom. It is good to understand the existence of positive and negative sides in any principle.
