    What to do when you want to be a good public speaker, speak up in meetings without having anxiety issues. Remove some bad memories related to it and get over it .. which NLP technique will help me and how to resolve this. Thanks!

    • @DamonCart
      @DamonCart  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You don't want to try to remove memories. First of all you can't and second, if you try to, you're likely just to repress them, which makes things even worse.
      What will being a good public speaker do for you? What stops you from becoming a good public speaker? Don't say anxiety if that's the answer you thought of. If it's anxiety, what are you anxietizing about?

    • @DamonCart
      @DamonCart  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your self-esteem gets stronger the more you accept your flaws and imperfections. This feels counter intuitive for most people so they try to preserve their self-esteem by not accepting their flaws and imperfections, which makes them very unsure of themselves.

    Why should your daughter receive praise merely for picking up her room. She should pick up her room and praise herself. You don't say how old she is. I was taught to make my bed, and keep my area clean. And, I did that. Without praise from anyone. Merely because I enjoy keeping my house clean.

    • @DamonCart
      @DamonCart  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't say anything about praising her for cleaning up her room. I said acknowledgement that she has done it in the past. If you presuppose people don't don't something or haven't done something in the past, when in fact they have, and at the same time you're asking them to do it now, it will make them question why do it at all. If you're not going to acknowledge they did it and you're only going to act like they didn't after they do it, why do it?
