The crowd can make or break a concert. When the crowd is pumped like this, and the band is at the top of their performance, these are the most memorable concerts. Nothing can compete
My first concert when I was 12 years old! They had the exact same spinning round stage as this one. My sister (who is 10 year older than me) took me along with a friend of mine. I was so amazed at how wild people can get when going to a concert and just enjoy themselves and let go. Such a great memory and I'll never forget it.
Jesus Christ....when they came back from that pause for the cause my goosebumps were as big as my tears....love you guys, your span throughout music will forever reign gospel.... respect!
God, this is one of THE best things I have ever seen. Never again will a band have this type of impact on my life... RIP Adam Yauch -- you made the world a better place...
Saw them at Electric Picnic in '07. They waited until people were leaving the tents before running back on stage and launching into Intergalactic - great night! 2000 people legging it back into the tent and into the pit! They know how to party - If you havnt seen them live and you get an oppertunity, you wont be sorry!
medicineman360 I was there!! :-) The Glasgow SECC 1999. I've got the setlist framed. I managed to get the security to take it off the round stage for me....
I was there that night and as a glaswegian I already know the energy of a Glasgow crowd but this was a very special occasion... a one off you will. It was the perfect storm and the b boys and crowd fed off each over to create this marvel. Glasgow loves you B Boys.
@@RMGCBG so you’re saying they owned a full music genre because they sampled it? Well they definitely owned hardcore, Tibetan jazz, 70s porno jazz-funk, rap and many others.
Seriously, this IS the Beastie Boys. This IS the best live performance they have or ever will give. This song is what will be looked upon when the Beasties are long gone..
At the beginning of the song it is so awesome. The lights are flashing on and off and all you see is everyone jumping. That is one hell of a crowd. But then again, this is one hell of a song! SABOTAGE
24 years ago I used to dance hard playing air guitar on my sister's tennis racket every time this song plays on MTV Daaaaaaamn the energy is still there
Damn skippy 'bout that! Makes me wanna go boost my brother's '76 Corvette stingray and play this thing as loud as possible while flooring that baby! Beasties kickin' it old school! Eminem ain't got nothin' on AdRock and crew! He's just a little poseur!
Oh my god, I have goosebumps. This is incredible! I've never seen a crowd like that! Beastie Boys forever! So jealous to the people that said they were there!
+Spoiled Rotten Great Dane Watch them play at Woodstock 1999. He's pogoing so much that he knocks them over, and can't seem to care. Naturally happy, I guess.

The band was firing on all cylinders
With all due respect to Rage, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, etc....this is the best hard rock song of the 90’s.
It's so hard to debate this
I argue that 90s bigger than any era of music.no exception
Video,maybe yes..taste may differ btw.....
It's up there, I think Rage & Alice In Chains are up there too
That's true

This song has always made me want to set something on fire and dance around it.
Favorite Beastie Boys song of all time!
No doubt in that one
Music legends. Period
Legendary performance
correct. this song alone justifies that tag, let alone the rest of their hugely impressive, influential and uniquely superb catalog, right?
Just, WOW!! Look at the energy of that crowd! And this was at the END if the show?
I envy any and everyone that was there.
(RIP MCA)

holy crap, so much energy. the beastie boys have always been so awesome.
My son was at this concert and witnessed this, as a father that makes me proud.
My son was born at this concert and, technically, witnessed this...
At this moment they owned: rap, metal, hip hop and funk like really no other...
Metal?

The energy generated by this band and the crowd is palpable, even in its recorded form. Amazing!
Damn this sent chills through my whole body because it was so awesome. I wish I was actually there. I would have crapped myself.

Just discovered this gem,,, awesome indeed. \m/
nothing will ever touch the beasties. genuine artists and heroes.
Any other band regardless of genre. Take note. This is how it's fucking done.
Kind of love how MCA blows right by the counted-off tempo on the bass. That's a band looking forward to kicking ass.
Seriously, this IS the Beastie Boys. This IS the best live performance they have or ever will give. This song is what will be looked upon when the Beasties are long gone..

0:47 EPIC like everything they did for music
Jesus Christ, did Glasgow burn this place down after this song? Wow, epic ending!!!
MCA's bass playing on this is amazing. It's as propulsive and confrontational as any bass playing Lemmy from Motorhead did or the Ohio Players
Great post
