Easier to just mount the slave cylinder on the trans and disconnect the line. Reconnect line after engine/trans install then bleed it. I've done many clutches and or installs.
Used some 10mm 3/8 Parker Hydraulic hose 350psi for my power steering hoses to the cooler to the res to the rack, removed the old hose out line from the rack, cut the hose crimp off the rack side you need a 22mm socket or wrench to get it off the rack, not sure you can do this with the engine in the car, my engine is out right now. Used about little less than 5 feet of hose I bought 6 reused the smaller clamps on the end at the cooler side, used a good worm clamp on the rack end, the hose fits snug already.
Been looking at your vids u do nice work , I have a 03 b6 1.8t 5spd n just picked up a complete 02 a6 2.7t auto , wanna do this swap on my 5spd just worried about how the motor will mount to the tranny and how it will mount to 1.8t mounts , Say u gotta use the 3.0 front snub bracket but , plan to get the harness from the harness store . Hoping the wiring and mounting is simple. Glad I was able to watch yours videos
Nice job mate, such a cool project. Thinkin' about doing the swap myself... but here we have the TÜV - Greetings from Germany. Hope to see some videos from this thing on the streets :)
Congrats man, looks like a good build with some quality parts. I'm looking to do much of the same with my C5 A6 here in the next year. Im curious as to what downpipes you're using as well!
The original owner had swapped in some XSPower down pipes (3" tapered to 2.5"). They had to be cut and modified to fit under the B6 trans cross member.
Awesome! Actually just ordered the snub mount and TBB from 034, probably gonna get the tranny and motor mounts as well. How much vibration do your 034 mounts add? Wondering if i should go street or track density.
I think the near solid mounts are very bearable. If you have time to wait, I will be releasing my own motor and trans mounts kits for the 2.7t in the next month or so.
Nice job my friend👍🏻, if I may..I have a few questions, and I apologize if you already went over this but is it just an O1E trans? Also, how are the mounting points? Does everything just bolt right up with the 2.7 mounts and brackets? And would this be the same process for a B7?
This is an 01E or 01X, all the mounting points bolt right up. There are differences in the trans mounts from B5 to B6 trans and cross member itself. You just need to make sure to use all the same parts (subframe, trans and mounts) from either a B5 or B6 to make it work. I am under the impression the B7 is very similar, I do not have direct experience doing that swap though.
It's running very well. Full exhaust is being installed this week and the car will be dynoed with the stock 034 canned tune this weekend. I should have an update video sometime soon.
Great work - I'm looking to build a b5 s4 tarmac rally car so getting stuck into the research. If you add before the www links in your video descriptions, people will be able to click them, at the moment they / we have to copy and paste :)
I just did my 2.7T Swap in my b6 and I cant get spark. Im not too sure where to go. My ECU doesn't allow me to grab codes. It seems to me that all of the crankshaft, camshaft sensors are in play and same with the fuel pump. So Im not too sure. My ECU isnt getting power. Do you know how to fix this issue?
I like it! I have an 02 C5 2.7t with full 034 motorsports stage 3+ on it. Great video, can't wait for an update on the car. Hope all is well.
wish you were closer ! would like some c5 videos and some California legal mods for that 2.7. info on 6 speed swap from triptronic auto Too.

We have the same general restrictions here, luckily this swap satisfies all the requirements! Videos out on the street will be out once spring hits!

Wow!! Cant wait to see more, I have a b6 as well, props to u fantastic swap.
What is the upgrade list for a stage 3 , what did you actually change ?
Thanks
Nice
I am thinking of how to use the necessary electronics if leave 4 cylinders for the 6 cylinders. Need to swap the ECU?
IT LIVES!
How did u do the wiring, do u have a diagram
Excellent video bro. What size belt are you running? I want to bypass the ac compressor for now. 2.7 swapped b5 passat wagon 4mo
64" 6 Rib
The Audi Garage youre the man bro
Awesome work man on the 2.7tt swap do you retain all the a4 functions ?
This swap was done at a previous shop and is missing a few items like A/C and auxiliary water pump control. I will be adding them in the future.
Do you have any videos on turbos leaking oil? That's what I'm being told cuz inside the cabin smells like oil ⚽
can I mount this engine with an auto transmission?.. I own a 2003 a4 avant
How much would you charge for this swap
awesome video
Awesome job man

good work
Why would you run it that long without any coolant?
I need a help i have an Audi 3.0 2002 that has a broken engine at my brothers garage he has a 2 .7 1999 passat engine is it possible to plug than ?
Is there a wire harness conversion kit for the b6/b7 2.7t conversion ?
Clint sells a PNP harness here the-audi-harness-store.myshopify.com/. Your other option would be to have a competent shop do the wiring as well.
@@TheAudiGarage will the harness fit a b6 2.5 tdi avant as I am doing 2.7t swap and need a harness to fit
Regards Ian
Dude you're bad ass ⚽😀✌👍😂🤘😁
I guess no more videos from this guy?
why was there smoke coming out of the coolant hose?
Makes me think there is a bad head gasket
I'm thinking of doing this with a b6 s4. What exactly do I need to make this swap work?
Google and the Audi/VW forums will be your best sources to answer that question.
Dod you do a clutch fan and ac delete?
Yes, AC willl be re-installed at some point this summer though.
Great work! Whats the song?
Ryan Little - Thank You for Playing (God Speed)
How's the car running ?
Cars been running well for quiet a while now, rock solid build.

Can you build my b6 s4 RS4 swap

Eric Noga replace the coils
Steering rack sounded like it went to shit
Its the pump bleeding air, it happens every time you pull a 2.7t.
You kill your Waterpump... dont start without Cooling Liquid
I've never killed a pump doing this. It's common practice.
He is running with no radiator
not recommended to run engine without coolant...
