Around 1992 I saw Brian May of Queen walk by my bus and cross the street with his son in London...then 2014 I saw him at Farmers Market on Fairfax in LA...I said something nice to him (we were in a specialty shop/wines/etc) and he replied in a nice way.....
3 nations, 3 bands that were never mentioned that rocked the 70s (two sold out entire stadiums). The Untied States; Steve Miller Band, had 2 #1's and a plethora of other famous 70s songs like Fly like an Eagle, and Jet Airliner (originally written and recorded by Paul Pena in 1973). The United Kingdom; Led Zeppelin, do I have to explain. Canada; Bachman-Turner Overdrive, the most underrated hard rock band of the 1970s only famous for about 5 songs in the US with one of those as a #1 but still full of other good songs like Four Wheel Drive and Sledgehammer.
Where is bloody Greg Lake of the great Emerson Lake and Palmer he was the greatest vocalist of all of them listed.. what about Annie Haslam of Renaissance a female tied with Greg Lake for vocals
It's like getting all the old folk from a sheltered housing home into the warden's office one at a time for a pep talk about weeing on the toilet seats in the communal loos! They all look like they did it and did not mean to do it!
everytime I see SZid Vicious pictures it reminds me how I gave my picture disc 45 of my way away to some one armed girl. Wish I didnt give it to her,never saw her again

They aged just like all of us do .Some died,but most look very similar to what they did when younger.
The 70s is my favorite musical decade. So many incredible bands!
