I live up in the mountains, 3500 ft elevation, 150 miles away from the ocean, but if I tell people I'm from California they immediately assume I'm a "surfer due" or from Hollywood lol. Hi Elizibeth! I agree with you on that, I grew up on 2 acres of land in the desert area and we liked and lived the same as well. When I was younger I grew up raising goats, pigs, chickens, geese and dad took me to help load up the hay and feed them for my chores. Wouldn't have it any other way, and I plan on having my daughters experience the same :)
