And dress in nearly strictly all-black, so I guess that's why they assume. No black lipstick for me though! Oh and I've got a cowgirl tattoo, and Texas and horseshoe tattoos, which should clue people in, but they don't seem to notice that. I mean my limbs are usually draped in black clothing (and I don't mean jeans & t-shirts, but velvet & lace), so I suppose they wouldn't. I'm a strange one, aren't I?

My mom died last month and its been really hard for me to listen to songs that remind me of her. She loved this song even though she was a born and raised NYer. She moved down south in the late 70s or early 80s and took up some southern habbits, such as keeping our Christmas lights on our porch year round. So this song just tickled her, she thought it was funny and badass all wrapped into one. I listened to this song today for the first time in a while and it actually made me happy - no tears, just laughs and smiles. I'll always love this song and remember how much she loved it too.
