      @hishot1078 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did some research on this. Some say it was license, but there is no definitive source to prove it. I did dig on 1970s~1990s news as well, and some of American origin vehicles are produced by technology transfer. In fact, the U.S. did transfer a lot of "outdated" design to keep the supplies flowing for Korean military. Although it is not sure if the U.S. gave blueprint for free or sold for money, it is 100% legit production and successor of M715.

    The Korean military designation of this truck is K311A1. But soldiers usually call it a sabun-ui oton(사분의 오톤 five quarters ton, 4/5ton). This truck is very familiar to all Korean military veterans. I am also Korean and I have ridden this truck of course, but I absolutely do not recommend it for civilian use. It has a very poor ride quality and no amenities such as air conditioning. In addition, all the steel plates of the body are thick and very strong, but the vehicle weight is heavy and the fuel economy is not good. . However, it is very easy to maintain and has excellent climbing ability. If you have any questions, ask me more.
