I just discovered this product and ordered the starter kit immediately! I run n scale and am still DC. I'm not an electrically skilled person but I can do this..I will set it up with manuel control and be the dispatcher able to stop and let go trains..thanks Atlas

I just switched over from Lionel fastrack to Atlas.
I could never get my 060T to go around my entire layout without it losing its connection thru the switches.
I purchased the continuous running with a twist. That's my starting point. Anyway, the 060T #95 goes anywhere it wants WITHOUT any issues!
Switching over from fastrack to Atlas was the best decision I have made yet!
    Thank you, Frank

I have not installed them yet.
I bought 2 of the signal system starter kits.
Very, very nice. They don't feel cheap at all. Can't wait to install them.

If Atlas brought the double head Type G signal for mainline/siding track or even the modern BLMA hood signals to O, man oh man.....

I followed the instructions for the Atlas signal bridge that has 4 heads (70 000 098). I used the Atlas selector switch. I connected all of the wires. Turned on the power and the red LED light on the board lit up but not the lights on the bridge. What went wrong ?

Can you run multiple signals on one board? If I have 2 signals can I only use one control board? Or I need 2

If you think a lomomotive is expensive. Forget it, this system is so expensive you would have to be nuts. Even if money was no object. It's still nuts. Try the Bruce Chubb system, it might be old, but it works, and works and keeps working! Been working on the Chubb system for about 9 months now. Check out one of my video's where I talk a little bit about it.

or you could buy some of the old fleischmann signals just be sure to get the selectors for them, they are old signals 40 plus years old but they are easy to find and usually still work great.

Does the system work with DCC powering it from a DCC accessory bus? Also does it work with a block detector so that operations are hand free, and it works when trains set it off through the detection? Thanks so much.

I have been making great progress on my install. But the default settings are shown as 2 block operation in the manuals. My signals have been working in 3 block mode. While hooking up another signal today I noticed the labeling on the signal board does not match the written manual. JP3 & JP4 are reversed. The Atlas advanced signal guide has alot of good information. Except the Jumper 3 & 4 section being reversed. It is available on the Atlas site under the information link then manuals link. download.atlasrr.com/pdf/AtlasAdvancedSignalGuide.pdf

Hello, I am very interested on your signal system for N scale, Do you have tutorials talking about the installation and more about the advanced functionality of your system ? ... something about several blocks on the track and how the trains automatically stop and start running and of course the materials, cables etc needed thanks a lot!!!

Looks cool! Can you attach multiple signals to the board in this starter set? I see there are other attachment point where you connected the first signal. If not do you then need a separate board for each signal, then what are the other connections for on the board? You need another video going into detail. I want signals on my layout, but need to understand what I am buying. The website says $59.99 for the starter set “pre order”. When do they arrive?

    • @kennethstout9237
      @kennethstout9237 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

You need one signal control board per signal. The other 2 jacks are for connecting the signal boards together. I have installed 28 signals, only 2 more to go. They are fairly easy to hook up.

Disappointing that it took you more than a year to have a video. I have had installed 10 signals including the control boards. My issue is that I cannot get one signal to operate correctly from grren to red. Checked wiring and plugs, no change. Have sent e-mails regarding my problem without receiving any response. You now need to provide a video using DCC and remote block controllers.

    • @kennethstout9237

I had one block that was showing a red signal when the section was unoccupied. I had 3 factory sidings coming off this section of track. After insulating them from the main, that signal is now working correctly.
