This video is how to replace the bearings of the deck pulley on a 1527 cub cadet lawnmower. Easy to do. The video also shows the part number of the bearings used.

Thank you. I forgot which way the pulley went by the time the bearings came in from eBay. This video showed me the raised end of the pulley goes down toward the deck.
I think you forgot the washers. Mine has a flat washer next to the bearings on the top and bottom. I am going to add a grease zerk in the middle of the spindle. What a crappy design.
