I'm driving the 944 from up here in Oregon, down to Santa Cruz, CA to work and ride bikes. It needed a few things before I felt it was road trip worthy, so here's a video log of all that work.
I enjoy the casual progress videos! There are tonnes of other vids for nitpicky how-to's. Just watching someone fix a car with nice music is a good style to shoot for here!
Regarding the content I personally enjoy, it's always nice to see some driving/enjoying vehicles. A good balance between working on your vehicles and going out and enjoying them would be amazing. The reason I subscribed to your channel was because you calmly talk us through your relationship with your vehicles and it's nice to see other people enjoying their cars.
I replaced all the incandescent bulbs in my 1973 BMW with LED. They pull less watts, put out almost no heat, and are much (!) brighter. May be an option for your car.
Yeah, lots of 944 folks but LED bulbs in (194 size) but the photos I’ve seen look TOO bright. I generally like dimmer gauge lighting at night, but “invisible” is a bit much.

“Relationship with your vehicles” is a cool way to put it. I appreciate that.
I'm really enjoying your videos 📹
Thanks, glad to hear it!
This was a great 944 video and definitely giving me ideas!
This is great entertainment. You're doing great
I appreciate that!
I'm good with this type of content. It gives me ideas and motivation for my own projects.
Drive safe, buddy! Hopefully I’ll see you while you’re down here!
Dude, the vibe, the music, the car, ... Spot on.
New sub here. Great stuff man. Like ASMR for car guys.
Thanks, that’s cool to hear!
👍😎👍
Rennbay was also nice enough to send me new fittings when I overtightened mine and deformed the hardline. Can’t recommend them enough!
That’s cool to hear. Good service is getting more rare.

@@tfrasca maybe you could experiment with a warm white color or a yellow instead of going full bright white.
I'm not sure if I missed something but there were no springs when you removed the shock absorbers?
The rear suspension uses torsion bars as springs. I removed the shocks but left the torsion bars in.
@@tfrasca Thanks. That's good to know as I need to refresh the suspension on my 944.
