Great to see this series Nick, I whish you the best of luck with your channel! I did notice that you assemled your rack incorrectly though, the uprights should be sitting in between the slats on sliders, not under the slats. You have those sliders in your kit; top left next to the plastic cases at 11:18. I was also confused when I built mine and did exactly what you did until I figured out how the sliders worked. I hope this helps.
Which uprights? I don’t fully understand what parts you’re talking about
I am talking about the legs of the roofrack. You mounted them wrong which is why they were so high. I will send you a photo on insta.
