so in bypass mode does the Oasis still transmit through the bluetooth, or is it only one or the other? The use case for this is where a person hard of hearing can wear headphones to hear clearly while others listen through the speakers at a normal room volume. and the TV does not have a separate output jack.

Can these transmitters connect to a PC and transmit to an external bluetooth speaker?

Okay, to clarify.. I can hook this Avantree device up to my NON-Bluetooth TV to get reception to my wireless Bluetooth headphones. Is that correct?

With a stereo audio cable, correct. Some TVs use RCA connectors, in which case you'd need an RCA-to-stereo cable adapter to connect the TVs audio ports to this bluetooth transmitter. It's all highly technical, and I suggest throwing coffee mugs at everything till the world makes sense again.

I’m looking to use this for transmitting audio for DJing at concert events, would you say this may work in a bar or venue well?

I've always wondered why smart tvs don't support BT audio.

      kuyaglen.
It's unbelievable that it's not standard on any TV or amplifier.

I bought a dell wireless monitor (U2417HWi) to mirror my PC but I'm having trouble picking up the bluetooth signal from my kitchen area. Should this device solve range issue...?

Bit biased your review considering Avantree sponsored your review. Anyways my concern more than anything is this the "QUALITY" of sound via the Device i.e. sampling rate in optical mode: 48KHz, 16bit have tried another similair product and audio quality was terrible. Must admit i only used there phono jack for input output from the TV to device. Being Techy i would assume Optical cable use to have improved sound quality. Now what i'm looking for is a device like the one your advertising to have Quality sound output to my Bluetooth headphones and if so i'm looking at purchasing the "Avantree" from Amazon i also noticed they offer another upgraded product the "Plus aptX HD" so i'm wondering which would be best for movies via Netflix on my TV ?
