- We just learnt a whole bunch about the next Universes Beyond set: Fallout X Magic: the Gathering. In this video, I cover everything that was announced as well as covering all the spoilers and new cards. Including some cards you should look to grab if you're wanting to build these decks.

I'd like to point out on Caesar, it doesn't say IF you do it says WHEN. Because something is always going to die when the mighty Caesar takes command.
The design for Nuka Cola Vending Machine is just sublime.
If the Doctor Who set is anything to go by, the design of the Fallout cards will be amazing
Mr. House is increible as well. On its face you are rolling a d6 to get a 4 or a 6 seems which seems relatively fair, but the first ability doesn't specific a dice size. So, players will be 'loading the dice' by stuffing their deck with d20 cards, literally cheating at gambling while presenting it as something else, just like Mr. House did to build his empire. Clown Car goes nicely with Ceasar too will be subbing a card out for it.
The thing about VATS, is the power is irrelevant. It only cares that all the chosen creatures have the same toughness.
And the fact that, at worse, it's effectively an uncounterable single target creature removal, and at best, it's an asymmetrical board wipe.
I really excited to build a Mr house dice deck. I just really hope they do regular boosters with this set
No regular boosters with this set is 100% confirmed.
The only products that are releasing are the Collector Boosters and the 4 Commander decks.
Don't forget though, if you buy the 4 commander decks, you'll get 1 of EVERY new Fallout card 🙂
That radstorm and alpha dreadclaw looks sick still looking for a 3 cost 7/7 green or black creature though

The full art lands keep getting better and better. I'm hoping to get a bunch of the Isometric ones.

Well, I run 5cs, at worst I can always proxy a Solemnity if the proliferate goes out of control.
@@attackoncardboard Using Aetherworks Marvel with untap abilities to cast a load of spells and then hit a Rad Storm to turbo boost your energy back up while also hitting an everflowing chalice or empowered autogenerator to set up lots of mana sounds like one of the most fun and terrifying turns.

ps. 7:58 vats doesnt work on "creatures that have symmetrical power and toughness", it works on "all creatures with same toughness", bit of a difference here
I understood that. I meant more along the lines of, generally elves mostly have the same toughness after all their buffs are applied to each other.

I can already see my Sliver deck getting thinned out by V.A.T.S. since a good deal of them are 1/1s or 2/2s as base, can't get them all though

I think the VATS card is saying "creatures who's toughness is an equal number" and not "creatures with equal power and toughness" which i actually think is more interesting sense it cant just instakill a board full of 1/1 tokens
I think you mistook what I was saying. Yes, this card only looks at the toughness of the creatures chosen, but generally in Elves deck, the creatures are all powered up equally, meaning if you target one elf, you're probably going to be able to target others as they'll likely all have the same toughness as the one you picked.
I hope the precons are good got my set pre ordered!

What did you mean by flickering overencumbered over and over so no one can attack you? You want to copy it multiple time, or flicker it before combat of each opponent?
If you flicker the aura, when it ETBs, you can attach it to a new opponent. Assuming you have the mana and the means, you can just flicker it at the start of each upkeep and assuming they have enough artifacts, you're going to make life very difficult. Especially if you have something like Ghostly prison or Propaganda already.
So does the booster packs have different cards then the commanders decks??
The Booster Packs contain REPRINTS and Alt Arts. There are no new cards in the booster packs outside of what you get in the commander decks.
How valuable will this set be?
It's a case of "how long is a piece of string". Hard to tell till we see what's printed. One thing we know for sure, IP specific cards (The Doctors for example) will be incredibly hard to reprint due to licensing.

honestly the deathclaw the better comparsion is to "Meteor golem" this goes one better and your able to nail the troublesome lands since it has ETB you can do it in flicker if you have the right deck
oh and by the way you missed something with "Feral Ghoul" this but there's a very very easy infinite mill/damage win with this
feral has the magic creature type...."Zombie" and it gets +1/+1 from death triggers so the combo im talking about? it is none other than the "Gravecrawler" + "Phyrexian altar" combo the Ghoul is a zombie which allows the gravecrawler to be recast and altar sac it to make the ghoul grow and when its like 100+ power you simply sac the ghoul with the altar
I did think that, but Meteor Golem has the most crucial typing. Artifact. Besides, I will take any chance I can to talk about the best Magic card printed 😂
And RE Feral Ghoul, yup, I didn't look to hard into combos for them as I knew there would be a bunch 😃

I would wait and see what the previews hold. They'll be dropping in mid feb, there's going to be 154 new Fallout cards.
@@attackoncardboard all i really want is a master or frank horrigan card but the set seems to largely cater to the modern 3d fall out games and not the first 2. Which is really unfortunate. I was really expecting a super mutants deck considering how important they are lore wise if not a brotherhood of steel pre con since they are the biggest name in the franchise. I guess the science deck ris supposed to fill that role but im not gonna hold my breath.
They've 100% confirmed they're covering Fallouts entire history.
What's next? Halo, Metal Gear Solid, Diablo/WoW?! Cashbro should stick to newer ideas not old ideas. Be bold not old!
What would be wrong with any of those collaborations? They're still releasing a brand new set every 3 months.
No callbacks to the original (and best) two games. Very disappointing.
