How to Fit SC Project Exhaust on Triumph Speed Triple R

- This week we fitted a gorgeous SC Project exhaust to Woody's Triumph Speed Triple R, and what a difference it has made!
After Scorpion sent the wrong kit the last time, Woody sourced the beautiful SC PROJECT can online and it was a total piece of cake to fit, literally done in about 20-30 minutes, including faffing about putting the decals on the cans.
The sound is awesome, even with the baffles in, but obviously we removed them for optimum safety effect!

No my mate never remapped and it ran fine.
A remap will certainly get optimum performance though

teapotone Did you bother with a remap? My Triumph dealer has offered to put the Arrow map on for free at the 500 mile service but SC Project website says it's not required. Many thanks.

I got the GP versions because they are slightly lower profile. Great pipes! But I do think a bit of refueling may be in order. Bike doesn’t like to engine brake below 3k and sometimes when I shift down into first; it doesn’t spin up right away when I blip the throttle.
Not an awful lot to say apart from, that triumph sounds sweet!!

Jesus the triple sounds insane! I'm in the process of selling my 2015 GSXR750 to get a Daytona in place of it. Rode my mates and the engine is a masterpiece! Shame they're discontinuing the Daytona
+DirtyFecker69 Aye the Daytona is a beautiful bike, a bit confused as to why they're stopping it really, but I suppose if doesn't fit the Triumph brand image anymore.
Yep the SC Project can makes a world of difference to the Speedy, my mate is still beaming from ear to ear!!
teapotone a insider tipped me a 765 daytona is a definite maybe very soon, watch this space.

Interesting - didn't know SC did the dual cans for the Speedy. Couldn't really tell much difference between the baffles in/out, but massive difference from the stock exhausts. Might have to get me some of those - well, once I get the bike too :P

I bought these off of the back of this video. Far nicer than the arrows in my opinion. Tell me? Did he ever get the map or a power commander? If so, did he loose any pops and bangs? Does the bike run any better?
Great video I think I'm.sold on the sc exhaust now I've seen this clip. A nice bit of humour and shows how to do the job. What tail tidy is on the bike please as I'll order one for mine now I seen one fitted inbetween the exhaust.

Hi there. I've recently purchased a new Speed Triple "S" and the same SC Project silencers/mufflers (yet to arrive). Your Evotech tail tidy looks great but I've pre-ordered the R and G tail tidy. Any clearance or heat issues with the Evotech?

Think the Triumph 765 A2 Varient would be worth getting. of course in a few months when i do my A2?

Just a quick one guys, I have taken my cans off in preparation for my sc’s, is there any tightening bracket where the cans slip on or do they just slide on and are held by the brackets to the frame??
From what I remember, I think they were just held by the frame bracket.

Hi, I’ve just put down a deposit for this very bike, Sc cans still on it!!! There don’t appear to be any baffles, any idea how I can get my hands on some? Guess I’ll be needing them for the MOT? Cheers

SC site only seems to give the option to buy the whole kit. Nothing on eBay - will continue to search. Looking forward to owning her, what was “Woody’s” name for her?

I must be out of touch with prices in the U.K after 36 years as a Brit in Ontario. 600 quid for 2 slip on cans ! That's more than I paid for my first 10 motorcycles in the 70's :) .600 quid is what I got for my one year old 74 Rickman Bonneville !
+James Weber Ha Ha, Aye James, you'd get a shock then back in the UK. £600 is towards the more expensive end of the market, but not extremes by any means.
At 4 quid a week for 40 hours work as a 16 year old fitter apprentice 600 quid is beyond comprehension. My first car was only 20 quid !What would a fitter make today ?

Great cans, but they completely screwed up my order and after 50 days waiting, one of them didnt fit! Terrible company to deal with
The best looking cans for this bike. Arrows are so ugly. Don't put stickers on.
