I saw them at a small bar in Long Beach in late 1993. Got to love those fake IDs back then. They were amazing. I'd give anything to go back to the '90s. Those were fun days. The world was a lot simpler back then.
Sublime used to come through Chico, CA back when I was going to college there-and this is how I remember them, f-ed up and sloppy with some moments of brilliance mixed in.
Typical "Sublime" craziness. That's part of what made the band great. You never knew what would happen. Would they show up on time? How fucked up would Brad be? How fucked up would Bud or Eric be? This was a mellow crowd. A lot of Sublime crowds were even rowdier than the band. Just having fun and enjoying the music, but things could get messy out on the dance floor especially near the stage. The bottom line is that the music that "Sublime" created was like no other band, before or since. R.I.P. Brad and Lou Dog.
He's the best and worst guitarist that ever lived! It's actually hard to pull that off! When you can juggle tapping into Jimi Hendrix and then tapping into Black Flag Greg Ginn at the same time, you must have some magic in your soul!
Lived in San Diego bunch of my friends were his Roadies we got to see him for nothing all the time they were amazing I'm sorry if you feel like that's the wrong choice but I don't care I love them
Footage from the Robbin' the Hood era is very rare, but in all of it you can see that Brad's addiction has completely taken over. Here and the STP video, he looks seriously ill in both.
Oh boy, his voice is hoarse. I can only imagine it's from not enough sleep. That always happened to me after a couple nights without rest. Great video and insight nonetheless
The last 3 years were better than the first 5 musically esp cuz the 7 orig songs that came outta 93/4 were WAY better than the 7 from 92;; robbin was headNshoulders 'bove 40oz-
Jim Jones I wouldn;t be surprised if he got that from some song somewhere, but it very well may be a freestyle cause I can;t find anything. "If you please hear my cry.... ... ... .. " Fuckin Brad
This must've been very early in Sublime's short performing career. This is probably the worst singing performance that I've seen from Bradley. Very lazy compared to other performances I've seen from him. Still love the guy though.
these people suck. early on or not, i was born in '90 and watching this is like watching jimi light his fucking guitar on fire. i was 5'4 in highschool and i could and would kick the crowd in the teeth if i could. if i could man. rest in peace brad, marin county, at least from me, will always love you brother, thank you. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Agreed 100%
Some things were more difficult but it was a better vibe

Coobakai this is about 13 minutes of brilliance you must be squared by the root.
Thier show up there at Juanita's in 94 was one of their best. Brad was rocking a Gibson with the wah
Excellent performance of Falling Idols. Its the real gem of this recording.

titaniumpecker Yes, and if these infidels came to my country, all their heads would be severed from their bodies. Blessed be to Allah.

I love how that chill stoner duse would sit next to bud during these gigs and just vibe out
why cant we just go back to 90's and stay there QQ
These 13 mins are growing on me. DAMN, this would of been a GTEAT show if OPUS could of been a good partner.
Sounds pretty good. I think he's in a tweek phase here. I knew Lob and Opus in HB. They put on some good shows.

This is him at the height of his heroin addiction, but yeah he's probably on all kinds of drugs here too.

And really if the audio was cleaned up the Lets Go Get Stoned solo would have been epic.
Girl saying "Aw, FUCKING DAYCARE" is the most 90's thing I've ever heard 😂
Lord I miss him so much good God please forgive please allow him into to your heaven
Tammy Ikonen shit he’s there. I think half the people he met truly misunderstood him.
bamadeadhead and underestimated him :)
I'm amazed Brad could function at his worst with his heroin addiction.
Footage from the Robbin' the Hood era is very rare, but in all of it you can see that Brad's addiction has completely taken over. Here and the STP video, he looks seriously ill in both.
This was when Brads drug problem was reaaaalll bad but in alotta ways it sounds sick. And what the fuck did Opus do?
