Nice reel bro but the new Penn 50 W has way more drag and better gears! Talk to all the long range guys! Good luck Fishen

Shimano is a Japanese brand and they don't manipulate the numbers for marketing. Penn use marketing techniques in the numbers. But in real life one Shimano Saragosa beats easy the Penn Slammer in spinning reels. In conventional reels, you just need to walk in the docks of many marinas, and you will see Shimano reels 2 or 3 to 1 in relation with Penn reels. Professional fishing charters know how abuse the reels, they use a lot more Shimano than Penn, for something that is named: Reliability! And for the big game fishing, Shimano Tiagra's are top of the line. Not mentioning Talica's or Tyrnos, When you have the opportunity to be in a Marlin Tournament, watch the expensive fishing yatchs and you will see the truth, many of them use Shimano Tiagra's for the big monsters!

I have most sizes of internationals if you are serious about big time east coast tuna fishing Accurate reels are the best made at the 130 size with a bent rod

I had a Shimano 50w and calstar 50-130lbs and it took down a 262lbs yellowfin tuna!!!!!

Nothing like a AR with paddle grip, 10 rounds, and a magazine release tool.

No shit. 100% agree with you. Seems like he has more dollars then sense. Too concerned about how he looks then anything. Plus kinda bulky reel for a rail rod. Oh well as long as I don't have to share deck space with him. Please leave the wannabee gangster in the hood

Good video. I have a makaira 16 with a phenix axis hax 720 X2H 40-100 lb rod with 80# braid. What type of San Diego charter do you recommend and how many days?
