How many yards of 100 pound braid did you get on the speed master 20? And is it capable of 200 pound bluefin?

John got 450yds and yes, its very capable for landing big fish, he needs an extra heavy rod like a Daiwa Protus or any other extra heavy that will 100lb braid

I have a United composites rod rated 50 - 80 lb . Is that rod enough for the big bluefin being caught at night with knife jigs?

You should be able to run 100 lbs braid on that rod.
Most monofilament sticks rated for 80lbs, is able to handle 100bls braid line.
You should be fine for Bluefin local
