The hardest part of cutting sugar is when other people want you to eat sugar with them! They literally will beg you to be addictive again. Do not fall into that I fell hundreds of times. Having Six-packs is better than having sugar!
Me thinking about all the "candy friends" I did with my friends.. (Candy friend - its a game you do with your friends, you give them candy, chocolate whatever, .. sugar.)

I got off sugar for 4 months and lost 30 pounds! I went from 193 to 163! It takes alot of will power. But so worth it. Also my acne cleared up. Do it people.

In my experience , I had a huge addiction to sugar ! But how did i stop ? For those who have sweet tooth like me , try to replace all the suger you used to eat with an apple or a banana . Those two food items will keep you full and they're way more healthy to you & your body. And here's a trick that helped me , EVERY SINGLE TIME I thought about the word sugar i drank a glass of water and immediatly somehow i became full so i stopped craving food & had an excuse to drink water even more ! Hope I helped you dear reader of this comment ❤
This is great advice and it's exactly what I did too. Replace junk food with fruit which has fiber and way less sugar and drink water if there's a craving.
I used to have *the worst sweet tooth* sugar was literally my breakfast lunch and dinner for years. But all off a sudden i noticed that im digging my own grave and having a huge risk of diabetes. I just stopped any thing to do with sugar its very very hard and rly tempting but i was determined to stop this addiction
After just 15 sugarless days my taste sense improved manifold: all foods now taste much much better. Sugar deprives our tongue of real taste of food. Quit sugar. Rediscover taste. Brighten life. Try it.
roeko 2 actually, spaghetti and all other carbs pretty much are sugar. They turn into sugar as soon as you eat them. Fruits and veggies are fine, even starches are ok in small amounts, but on a sugar free diet you're not supposed to eat any processed carbs like bread or pasta.

I stopped sugar watching videos like this just to see if anything actually happens or if it's just nonsense. Well ii lost alot of weight, my acne slowly cleared up. I became energetic and a girl at work fancies me. Stop eating sugar!!!
I quit eating sugar and have lost 75 lbs in 8 months, my blood pressure is normal, my migraines STOPPED and after passing all the tests at my Doctor I am NO LONGER taking ANY prescription pills. It only was tough for the first couple of weeks then the cravings stopped. If I can do it anyone can.

I stopped eating sugar on a regular basis about a year ago (as in I have it rarely or on special occasions) and the changes have been mind blowing. Not only have I lost weight, but my skin is much clearer and less oily, my energy levels have skyrocketed, and I have become so much more optimistic and overall happier. 10/10 would recommend
I stopped eating sugar, grains, and starches. I no longer have any food cravings. My blood sugar is normal. I lost a ton of weight. My headaches are gone. I feel wonderful. Plus I have saved over half my food budget. It's amazing. Give it a week. It's easy.
Been 3 years, 7 months, 2 days, and 4 hours now. It was a bit tough at the beginning, but all I can say is that the results are worth the efforts. I can't even express how taking this act has immensely affected my health in many ways. Please, stop eating sugar.
@@angelaharris1112 my cravings stopped much earlier, in as little as a week, although i 'purged' with a one day fast. When I came out of it I chose normal foods, no refined or processed foods, and it was only a couple days more till I stopped feeling the cravings for sugar. Oh but I did basically binge eat everything I had at home that wasn't very healthy in the previous month, so my house was clear, and i got to the point I that some foods made me nauseated form just imagining ahaha

I am 13year old and my mom always say to me to not eat sugar but I can't stop eating.i can stop eating donuts, cookies, chocolate, gummies,M&M's I love all of them I can't stop eating and now my day and night routine has changed I stay awake whole night eating snacks and at day time I sleep after watching this video now I am not going to eat sugar
I dropped sugar from my diet last year, at age 58 I lost 70 lbs in only 3 months. I went from 260 to 190 lbs. the first week was hard, suffered from headaches and feeling crazy all over. But it passed quickly and after I felt 20 years younger. I recommend it to anyone wanting to feel better. If u look back at history there was no widespread weight issues prior to the invent of processed sugar. And after only the very wealthy had weight problems due to they were the only ones that could afford sugar. Please try it u will not regret it.
im doing my 8 to 9 mile walking, iv stoped eating all bread, drinking tonic. now i drink water. fruit, i eat little food, not a lot of food. iv cut back eating heavy amounts of food. im sleeping 11: hrs. im taken good care of my health.
I've stopped eating sugar since late January and the changes are huge. Although yes I did have sugar on special occasions and sometimes when I ate out with friends, I have mostly quit it. Today I wore some shorts that last time I wore them in December 2016, I could remember them bulging between my thighs, and being so tight. And I wasn't at all 'big' I was a healthy size. Today when I wore them they were so loose! All most too loose! I have also become happier and more organised. I've also really started to appreciate the world around me and my grades have improved at school! It's hard first, but once you get used to it you feel so good! You have to do it!
Hi there! Same with me. At first i couldn't fit in my school pants. My stomach was hanging over and my thighs were so big! No I limited my sugar intake and the weight in my thighs have decreased to 20 cm. From I have also lost a lot of weight. I was first 50 kg and now I'm 35.
i have stopped eating sugar for 2 month and my cellulite is disappearing. plus, i had bloating and it has also gone. i feel happier than before because i have a healthier life than before.
I stopped eating sugar (mostly) years before watching this video. I can tell you that everything it mentioned is TRUE. The best benefits for me is the normal sleep pattern/ better sleep, more energy/productivity, easier to feel happiness, clearer skin. I will tell you that for the first week it is not easy! The first 2-3 days I feel anxious, headachey, somewhat jittery, couldn't keep my mind off of sugar and wanting to eat something sweet. Like a true addict. Day 3-5 i felt cranky, moody, depressed, low energy... but also beginning to lose the craving for sugar. Just melancholy. Around day 6 & 7 i got a nose bleed which I know is from giving up the sugar because the brain had a week to recover and now the remnants of whatever damage was being caused is flushing itself out. That's not the exact medical explanation but my doctor told me something like that after I also got nose bleeds a week after giving up caffeine. It is the final stage of giving up the addiction. Though my nose bled on that day, I was feeling much better all around. By day 8-9 it was like i was a brand new person. Everything in general was just better and it's the best thing you can do for your well-being... coming off of the sugar/caffeine trance. Now remember I said "mostly". I'm not crazy.... i still eat some things here now there that contain a little sugar like ketchup, things that contain very little sugar that are almost unavoidable in everyday life. I basucally try to keep it below 10-15 grams per day. (5 grams in a packet of ketchup) This is hardly anything & won't effect you much at all. What I'm saying is i dont eat anything more than that.. no sweets, sodas, desserts, etc. That'll make all the difference. If you are planning to give up sugar my advice is just get through the first week! Deal with it! You'll be glad u did!
danny boyyy I appreciate good advice, thank you. I’m gonna try this too. Better write something useful and helpful then asking for likes and nonsense blabbing.
I'm planning on not going of sugar at all or looking at how much I'll be eating from it. I'm just gonna cut it down to 1 piece of sweets once a month and no sodas exept when I'm in the cinema! Which I basically never am. I just hope that will help me.
I stopped eat sugar 5 years ago and it really a wonderful experience. I feel healthy and less stress. Since that I lost around 25 kg and I am in good shape without big stomach.
Magistus Absinthe Hi, it’s fine to eat fruit but not too much because eating a lot of sugary of them can cause blood sugars. The more impotent thing is to do sports everyday. You mustn’t do hardly sports, jogging around 30 minutes enough. Thanks
In 2017, I went sugar free, my life was good, I was at a good weight, organised, slept well at night etc. In 2018, I ate sugar regularly, I stressed a lot about my binge eating, weight (quite a bit since I’m a dancer), school and organisation. Looking back, my year was hectic and sugar only added to my stress and anxiety. I have a history of heart problems, and in 2017, I had virtually no symptoms, however in 2018, I often had chest pain. Coincidence? I think not. I am returning to my sugar free lifestyle as life without sugar is 10000000000000x better!! It may be hard, but the results are amazing!!
I stopped for a week and it was great! All of those things happened. Then it was my birthday and I ate a lot of sugar and I've never stopped again. Thank you bright side for giving me the motivation I need to stop sugar again.
I was diagnosed with pre diabetes so I stopped eating sugar 2 weeks ago resulting in smoother skin, solid sleep, clarity and weight loss. It took me 3 days to stop craving sugar.
On keto for 40 days now. I've realized that I cannot consume 80% of what's in grocery stores, and 98% of what is in convenience stores. I look at mass produced pre-packaged food like foreign objects now.
About 3.5 months ago, I tried stopping for 12 hours, and I had the worst cravings in my life. I was sweating, shaking, and exhibiting various other symptoms of withdrawal. Fast forwarding to today, I can now go days, even weeks at a time without sugar. I feel much better, for sure, but I don't mind a nice candy here or there.
Yes I tried once. It was really horrible. For twelve days I felt like dehydrated, weak, continuous mild headache, lazy, raised levels of carving for sugar, over temptation for sugar intake. After thirteen days I started feeling better. My skin felt fresh. I don't know about bad breath but I started sleeping only for 5 hours. Especially I started running in the morning double the time with less stress on heart. Actually I felt weightless. I didn't dropped my weight much but it made me feel active. I always used to sleep sleep sleep to watch TV, using phone, operating pc. But I started sitting for long hours without pressure on my heavily fatty stomach, without strain on my back, without yawning all the day. One thing for sure IF YOU DARE TO FACE THE FIRST TWO WEEKS TORTURE TO COME OUT OF SUGAR, I CAN SAY YOU WILL ENJOY A BRIGHT LIFE AFTER TWO WEEKS.
Iol I’ll try out what everyone else is doing one like one day without sugar I’m scared I’ll fail this challenge This time I’m not liking my own comment
I stopped eating sugar 2 months ago and I hv lost weight...am smarter and I actually don't and nolonger sleep during day.....am more active and happier.... thanks pipo sugar is bad I swear

I made two changes in my diet 1. Removed all sugary drinks and snacks 2. I have all my eating done within 9 hrs. ( 8am - 5pm) I lost 10 lbs in two weeks
I'm not gonna eat sugar for a year then I'll come back and comment on this video what impact it had on me don't worry I'll keep you updated every week!
I haven't eaten artificial sugar for 6 days and I feel really good. I felt hungry all the time and was craving it badly in the first two days. I figured it was because I ate sugar to fill me up so I had to replace that with healthy food. It definitely became easier as the days went by. The temptations were extremely hard to stay away from especially when my entire family was eating dessert in front of me. BUT I didn't give in and it felt really good to know that I controlled myself. I would really recommend you try it out, even if it's for a week!
i dont eat sugar but i have fruits like 2-3 per day + 3 dates (dry fruits ae my weakness + 2 tbsp of peanut butter should i cut them down too? i binge if i cut them off
zayesha no dont cut them out of your diet. Natural sugar is pretty healthy. And u will binge if u cut sugar out completely. Try and only cut out added sugar. Hope this helped!
Today is 10th day of me not eating sugar (bad sugar, I still eat fruits because they are healthy) and I lost 2kg already lol, also I noticed I have more energy during the day - Like to remind me to update!
I have always had a sweet tooth . But guys believe me. Its not that hard to stop eating it. I was afraid i would get diabetes so i stoped. I didnt eat chocolates and other stuff for a week . And then i went tovthe second. The less sugar you'll eat the less your body will crave it. *IMPORTANT* if you are totally addicted but want to stop do this *DONT CUT IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY CUZ THAT WONT WORK* Instead if you eat 5 chocolates a day try eating 3 a day. And then after adapting to that eat 1 until u have stopped ! Hope i helped someone
Hello, NO ONE, this is exactly how I stopped smoking. One less a day until there were none (3 pk a day habit!). I also prayed for strength to get through the moments of craving near the end. Cigarette free for over 40 years now! Guess it is time to follow this advice on my sugar addiction too! Thank you for reminding me of what I already knew.
GloryDolly Gaming I cut out meat from my diet I just have fish, pasta, rice, veggies, fruit I haven't had McDonalds or any other processed food in weeks I feel fine and much better Skin has improved I dont eat sugar or any unhealthy foods That consist of sugar I don't drink fizzy drinks I just stick to organic juices and water or home made smoothies from fruits and veggies
Pasta and all other foods containing lots of carbs while containingalmost no fibers have the exact same effect on your metabolism as sugar has. Things to avoid: Pasta, Wheat products like most bread (Use rye products with a lot of fiber instead), Potatoes (mainly starch=fast carbs and little fibre), Rice, Fruit juice. You can eat rice, but it shouldn't be more then a cup per meal. Potatoes around 2 the rest of the meal vegetables and meat. Also it's allright to eat something unhealthy once in a while, just don't do it every day. A cake at a birthday party isn't a problem. Eating a shopping card full of chips, candy bars and the like per week is.
In 2005 I got SARS. I have never been more sick in my life. I seriously thought that I was going to die. I lost 30 pounds in 3 days, and had a hallucinogenic 103° fever for all 3 of those days. I wasn’t able to eat anything for another week, then light bland food for another 10 days. I obviously had the weight to lose, but it still came off from the week of nothing and lost another 10 pounds. I had a large iced coffee everyday made light and sweet, roughly 7 teaspoons and cream and I am lactose intolerant (which I never knew, I always have had stomach problems). I went for my usual iced coffee and drove away. I got one sip in and it was revolting. It felt like a bag of sugar, so I kept cutting it down. Finally I really was only happy with black, which was unthinkable a few weeks before. I couldn’t tolerate anything sweet and I continued to lose weight. I without realizing was consuming 1000 calories a day and large amounts of water. So about 7 months later I weighed 97 pounds less and have kept most of it off. I guess I was scaring friends and family because I got to a “too skinny” size, I just saw it as an impossible task that I was surprising myself with achieving and couldn’t believe that I got to the top of that mountain that I hoped for and never would imagine I could or would get to. It’s still off after 12 years, but I put 20 of it back on, but by choice this time!
i have not ate sugar for a month and i’m starting to lose weight. took me a couple attempts already this year but because i already tried, it has helped me get used to it now. I highly suggest doing this, very life changing!
It is hard to give up sugar completely because almost every food is loaded with grams of sugar. Giving up something you like is difficult. I remember when I quit soda. I had massive headache for a month because of the caffeine addiction I assume, but I don't miss it. I had a can of coke after 2 years and honestly the taste was way to strong for me to handle and I didn't like the taste either. I couldn't even finish a can anymore. when I was 10 I used to drink a whole liter bottle. I was shocked I couldn't even finish a can. I came a long way from giving up on a terrible addiction. I try every day to consume less sugar possible but like I said everything has grams of sugar. I try my best to buy products with less sugar and fast (Islamic fast from sun rise to sun set) 2 days a week. I also gave up beef (cow meat only) to help with prevention from uric acid build up. I don't have gout or anything but the human body can survive just fine without beef and fasting couple days a week. I am trying new ways to help improve my body, mind, heart, and soul.
It wasnt hard for me. Infact I didnt know it provided this many changes but I did it because I dont want acne. I did lose lots of weight though and im no longer overweight. Its pretty easy at least for me.
im trying to give up red meat, but im half somali and they eat nothing but pasta and lamb with sooo much salt in everything. it's disgusting and i feel the same way when i eat it. i want to fast 2 days a week as well to improve my health, idk why but i feel like my mother would think im doing it to lose weight (which im currently trying to do) but i'm not. i never want to admit i want to lose weight to anyone
I haven't been eating sugar and sweets for more than 3 years) and even now when I look at all these delicious things I don't want to eat them. How did I do that? I just told myself that I control food 😄, food can't control me)
Fayyaz gaming You don’t have to quit fruit. Fruit has a lot of vitamins and are great for the body. The fruits sugar is natural, just remember it’s all in moderation.
The higher the cocoa percentage, the better it is for you. Dark Chocolate is a good snack to eat if you run a lot and can also be a pretty nice brainfood
Hey, my 99% dark chocolate has 1g of sugar per 100g. I'd have to eat 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) to meet the WHO 25g of added sugar guideline :). Not happening, yo. It's hard enough to eat one bar (50g). And it takes to refrigerating wonderfully- no loss of taste. Maybe because there is so little sugar.
i dont ea sugar but i have fruits lie 2-3 per day + 3 dates (dry fruits ae my weakness + 2 tbsp of peanut butter should i cut them down too? i binge if i cut them off
zayesha look for the natural peanut butter. Peanuts should be the only thing listed on the label. And fruit is fine as long as it has no added sugar. Fresh and frozen are best. You could try drying the fruit yourself too.
thats so true, when you just stop eating sugar for 1 week you wont feel like needing it, since 1 month i changed my diet completely and it has been now my 20th day without sugar, but I am eating fruits but maximum 3 portions and I really feel so much better 😍
Yes, I gave up sugar 6 months ago. Occasionally I'll have a treat, but for the most part, it's all healthy food for me: lots of veggies, good meats and healthy fats.
Jamie R great job I wish I could keep up if I stop for 3 days I can’t handle anything I get annoyed so fast and I need to be in a good mood because I do a lot of interacting each and every day.... Darn it
@@chsny5695 that’s pretty much what I do to. I just hold out all day and have a bowl of cereal or something before bed. I’ve been losing weight so quitting sugar completely just seems unnecessary right now.
The problem is that we often forget that we have to maintain a good diet. We often get a good diet started but then go back to the bad habits. So don't forget your goal!
I have stopped eating sugars for past 3weeks... "this stayed my mantra throughout this period.. And now nolonger i crave fr sugars... I overcame my cravings... !!
I've quit sugar before and felt great. Unfortunately it slowly crept back into my diet, and now a few years later I feel gross again. I am starting a new sugar free challenge. I can definitely say that I ALWAYS feel better when my sugar intake is less.
I swear to you guys that removing sugar from your diet is so effective to your health. I was prone to acne. Tried a lot of facial products. Applied the natural home remedies. Still, no miracle happen. So I decided to stop sugar intake and the effects work quiet well like a charm! All my acnes are gone and I regained that smooth skin back again.
It took me a month to remove my pimples but it left me scars. But it will take forever if you really want to clear your face off. 'Cause last week I binged sugar a lot through my cheat daze and the next week waking up in the morning, my pimps says hi.
I'm not sure if removing sugar from your body forever is healthy too. I'm really skinny and after doing this, I loosed weight a lot and it made moooore skinny.

Sugar except the one from fruit is useless to human body but salt is required by the human body around half a spoon per day.
These days salt because it's actually good for the body. Tastewise I'd say sugar but it is clear that it is pretty much just poison.

Ano Nymous sugar from fruit and chocolate have different effect on people trust me
This is great advice and it's exactly what I did too. Replace junk food with fruit which has fiber and way less sugar and drink water if there's a craving.
Ano Nymous I think she didn't mention that fruit has fiber. You can eat two apples and feel full and have consumed way less sugar than soda or candy.

Shadab Fariduddin What did you eat???😫
Shadab Fariduddin you now sugar is almost in everything even spaghetti
roeko 2 actually, spaghetti and all other carbs pretty much are sugar. They turn into sugar as soon as you eat them. Fruits and veggies are fine, even starches are ok in small amounts, but on a sugar free diet you're not supposed to eat any processed carbs like bread or pasta.

What about fruits, especially bananas?? If okay, how much did you eat or not eat?
Casey Just what abt fruits??
Fruits have natural sugars, not artificial. Our bodies need natural sugars for certain functions, so fruit is okay.
If you stop getting migraines I will eat no sugar for the rest of my life

You still doing 2 hours every day?
Citlali Camacho-Mainard yes, at least 1 a day. But I prefer vegetables over fruit, they're better than fruit and I just think they taste nicer

Is the bloating still down?
Better write something useful and helpful then asking for likes and nonsense blabbing.
danny boyyy 2 much 2 read
Aj ____ thanks for that and you're very welcome! I wish u the best :)
I'm planning on not going of sugar at all or looking at how much I'll be eating from it. I'm just gonna cut it down to 1 piece of sweets once a month and no sodas exept when I'm in the cinema! Which I basically never am. I just hope that will help me.

Hi, it’s fine to eat fruit but not too much because eating a lot of sugary of them can cause blood sugars.

You are a true fighter! Keep it up, you've come a long way.
It wasnt hard for me. Infact I didnt know it provided this many changes but I did it because I dont want acne. I did lose lots of weight though and im no longer overweight. Its pretty easy at least for me.
im trying to give up red meat, but im half somali and they eat nothing but pasta and lamb with sooo much salt in everything. it's disgusting and i feel the same way when i eat it. i want to fast 2 days a week as well to improve my health, idk why but i feel like my mother would think im doing it to lose weight (which im currently trying to do) but i'm not. i never want to admit i want to lose weight to anyone
mkq0007 sounds so difficult theres sugar in everything

I haven't been eating sugar and sweets for more than 3 years) and even now when I look at all these delicious things I don't want to eat them. How did I do that? I just told myself that I control food 😄, food can't control me)

Thank you for sharing the key mindset ❤
I used the same mindset to quit smoking.
Or probably you just lazy to brush your teeth twice a day and dont go to the gym to work it off
@@xiiixlllvlllxiiix so your'e saying that person should continue eating unhealthy? you sound very uneducated.
I am on day 7 of no sugar and day 17 no cigarettes i stopped just like that. Just to see haw strong I am.
Yeah hope you're still going good on you Brother👍
You are so awesome! Keep up the new lifestyle andive longer, happier, and healthier.
How are you getting on with it after 5 months ?
But how can a person quit fruits...so from where person get vitamins 😓
Fayyaz gaming
You don’t have to quit fruit. Fruit has a lot of vitamins and are great for the body. The fruits sugar is natural, just remember it’s all in moderation.
I stopped eating sugar for like a month, and I can say that my acne has gone down ALOT, but I couldn't resist to have dark chocolate now and then.
Diana 14731 dark chocolate is okay if you have small amounts about once or twice a week to help you loose weight and it’s good for your skin!
Occasionally I'll have a treat, but for the most part, it's all healthy food for me: lots of veggies, good meats and healthy fats.
likewise, except the time frame. mine is more like 6 weeks
same here - except my time frame is different - like 6 hours :) ahh well...
Jamie R great job I wish I could keep up if I stop for 3 days I can’t handle anything I get annoyed so fast and I need to be in a good mood because I do a lot of interacting each and every day.... Darn it
Watch "What the health" and you may wanna go completely vegan
Do you eat fruit?
Me: "a week without suger will be easy..."
Also me: "if i take one cube of chocolate nothing gonna happen right?"
The Last Player I usually go all day without sugar and then right before bed I’ll have a square of dark chocolate.
@@chsny5695 that’s pretty much what I do to. I just hold out all day and have a bowl of cereal or something before bed. I’ve been losing weight so quitting sugar completely just seems unnecessary right now.
@@EvilDick1995 hhhhh what about me I'm skinny boy!!😅
@@hajji384 lol what do you mean?
@@EvilDick1995 I mean if I cut eating sugar also I'm skinny mean slim ?n! Hhh very thin
The problem is that we often forget that we have to maintain a good diet. We often get a good diet started but then go back to the bad habits. So don't forget your goal!
This channel almost saved my life on this one. I owe you a lot of debt, I dont think I can repay pal, I didn't really know that I was wasting my life.

How long did it take
It took me a month to remove my pimples but it left me scars.
@@aeranaguilar2625 well thanks and yeah im not gonna do this forever just want to try it out and when my acne starts clearing up ill eat suger again but not as much. But thanks. Btw there are a lot of otger foods with protein and healthy fats that can make you gain more weight but in a healthy way
When I quit sugar I dropped 18 lbs in a month-and-a-half!
