It’s absolutely worth the work. Because stock saws suck and if you have the know how and ability to do the port work an machine work then use it. Every saw you do you get better and better. Saw runs good.
Saw sounds like it’s ripping! 👍🏼 You are there and we aren’t so you’d know more about the feel than we will but from just watching, I’d keep experimenting with chain. It just doesn’t look like it’s throwing chips like it should. But hey, impossible for us to tell for certain so 🤷🏽♂️👍🏼👍🏼
Boedy I do believe that Redmax was supposed to have been mine a while back? It came out good for all the stress it put you through but now it’s a runner!
I already have thought about it might be cool to try putting 1/4" pitch chain and file the rakers down real far and run lotta sprocket and just see what kinda cut you could get out of a 5.5hp 550mk2.. dont know if those are even a viable option but the thinking says to me that less width of wood removed allows more raker depth and chain speed so faster cut.. I personally wouldn't run 3/8 on a 50cc
If you just simply switch it to high idle it’ll start first pull. Do it a few times and it just becomes a habit.
John makes some great race chains!!! 👍🏻 You did an excellent job on that one, shes a dang little firecracker!!!

Love to see that put on Joe's dyno to see if it beats Brisco’s and how it compares to the one Joe did for me
Awesome job man! That's totally awesome! Good work.
There you go. Patience payed off. Nice job.

Nice job on that!! Can't believe it's 43cc
it's 50 mate
Been waiting for this one!
Did husqvarna ever fix that flawed design of the 545 550s not restarting properly, or is it not a thing on the newer saws.
Like the redmax chainsaw it sounds good man.
