G is Drop D, and you don't have to press and hold - just press. Not sure why you have to do individual strings - mine is super accurate just strumming all 6
@@TheGospelGuitarist That may be because you changed to a different gauge string set than what it was shipped with. Sensitivity and Calibration are two setup processes I do every time I switch string gauges, which I'm still doing since I've only had the guitar for a year.
In the manual there is a section "Activate Low Tunings and/or Additional User Tuning Preset Banks". Follow that. Then you can access the white, yellow and magenta bank.
Thank you for the tutorial! Could you really please help me to get my guitar into Drop C# . I would love to play some EVH songs like Unchained. I was thinking maybe to use first the preset Eb and then tune ONLY my Low to C#(I don't know how), if possible. Thank you, I would really appreciate it.
Pick up a guitar with normal tuners and tune it to C#. I dropped this tuner off my guitar in about a month. I can tune faster using my ears and fingers. Tronical works for some but not me. If it is not already programmed in the machine you can add custom tunings by learning them and saving them into it. I personally have never used C#. (C# F# B E C# )
You can go to Tronicals website and download the manual which tells you everything you need to know about using this tuner. I think drop c is in the red bank. Most common tunings are already inside.
