Unfortunately no, it doesn't come with a remote. There's a power button on the bottom of the screen which acts as a knob that can move up, down, left and right. By pressing that it'll show the menu for the settings and you'll have to do this every time you turn on or off the monitor.

Ips panels have worst contrasts. If you want good one get an OLED or VA.
I think all ips have same 1000:1 contrast.
So this monitor are suitable for design ? because i am a gamer also a designer have to make sure the color is accuracy.

Its expensive because of the better quality. Every penny on this is worth it than other cheap brands
