This video is the first in a series of videos to document my attempts to walk all 214 of the Lakeland fells known commonly as the Wainwrights. Hallin Fell sits on the edge of Ullswater and offers views that would rival most places. As a smaller fell it is popular for its accessibility and ease. Steel Knotts sits across from Hallin Fell and offers views back across to Ullswater but also of the Martindale Horseshoe.

His 7 book series has long been the ultimate guide for those intending to explore the rolling hills of the Lake District. This series of videos follows my efforts to complete #mywainwrightproject to walk all 214 of the listed fells in this iconic series.

This is a great edit - good narrative and some amazing views. This series should do really well. The aerial shots are superb and a fantastic job getting some activity shots of you - single camera use. We feel the area of Hallin Fell has been used in a ton of films.. So were all the trees in this area clear cut for farming.
