Can anyone help me? My IR sensor keeps detecting the bottom of the candy dispenser so it keeps dropping another candy after the delay. Is there a way to set my IR sensor to not detect the bottom of the inside of the dispenser?

just adjust the distance to be covered by the sensor which is found on the IR sensor using the potentiometer found on the IR sensor. mainly, minimize the distance between the sensor and the bottom of the base.
