It used to be the Metal Gear Solid series main theme until it came to light that it had an uncanny resemblance to a Russian song. It's still occasionally snuck into the games in some way or another (for example, Twin Snakes has a variation in its alert theme). Don't think it has a specific name though.

He is right, the MGS4 music does suck. The classic MGS game over theme is missing, the boss musics are mostly crap besides Vamp and Rex vs Ray. The Metal Gear Solid theme isn't in it untill the very end and half of it is missing. Father and Son is pretty good. Old Snake is depressing and boring. Everything is else is just pumped unmemorable Hollywood crap. This is wer its at.
