This podcast was absolutely enlightening, offering a deep dive into the financial, emotional, and practical aspects of divorce.
Kim truly did a remarkable job navigating such a sensitive topic with respect and grace.
One key takeaway from the conversation was the idea that while divorce is often unplanned, it's essential to be prepared for life's unexpected events, much like we plan for death.
The end of a marriage doesn't equate to the end of life-rather, it can symbolize a new beginning.
Another insightful point Jani/Kim shared: "If money can fix your problem, then you don't have a problem." This reframes how we think about and define our challenges.
Finally, I absolutely loved Kim’s perspective on what she called the "emancipation celebration"-marking the end of a difficult chapter and embracing the future with a sense of freedom and possibility. The past is behind, and it's time to move forward. In her words….The End, In the Past, Let’s Go!

I am so glad that your channel came across my explorer page. I going through a divorce and really I’m just getting started. My attorney is moving at a snails pace. I live on the south side of Atlanta and I really had no idea how to select an attorney. The office help that I met with was charming and while speaking with her I decided to stay with them. Had I actually met with the attorney and knew that it would take 60 days for just the initial divorce petition and 90 days plus later I still haven’t gotten temporary help. Whew. It’s a lot of money for not. I can’t wait to come out on the other end of this still standing.
