I "heard" that because of Warzone 1's engine, they couldn't implement a higher FOV option on console and faced other technical limitations. That's why they created Warzone 2 with a new engine.

Yeah but phantom forces just reuses the same animations. Also they have like 20 versions of the M4 and 10 versions of the AK. Most of the weapons are variants of each other.
