I'm going to be completely honest: let's put the Gunsmith and FN2000 and EM1 aside, the rest of the weapons and models in this game are one the best looking models I've ever seen in a WW2 game and i like how they even included many prototype weapons of course it's not realistic nor historically accurate, but not as uncanny as the whole gunsmith feature and those two futuristic weapons

The FN2000 got time travel entered to the WW2 era which Vanguard made it no sense. It should kick in to the MW2022 or MW2023 because FN2000 should come into this modern warfare weapons

Nah, most of them are very good looking, but not miles better than other recent WW2 games. Some weapons like the BAR, Type 11 or Thompson have some weird things in their models and animations, and others like the automatic Lee Enfield conversion are somehow fully mirrored. Idk, I think Vanguard was doomed from the beginning, there's not much to redeem about this game.
Calling Vanguard a "WW2" game is misleading cuz we already have MP maps set in the 1950's so barring the obvious ones like the F2000 and Laser Gun, the guns produced after WW2 kinda makes sense in the game. Not defending Vanguard cuz it's still shit anyway

Beyond the horrible, lifeless sound design and breaking the laws of time with futuristic weapons, the weapons are admittedly spiffy Imo though, it was criminal that the Lee-Enfield was campaign-only and the Springfield from WaW is just gone
The fact they didn't even bring back the Springfield from WW2 with that awesome Unertl scope is just appalling to me. Also Lee-Enfield only holding 5 rounds.
Also where the fuck are the rifle grenades. They focused on making this game feel like modern game so they just put a fucking grenade launcher which I see the first time in my life
Aside from the two very obviously not WW2 weapons, it amazes me just how many other anachronistic weapons are in the game, like there are more unique weapons from other countries during the war but apparently early cold war to modern and futuristic makes more sense 😂
Thank you for doing this. I hate the gun customization for this game, they jacked up the ammo count for some of the guns namely the Lee-Enfield, and they messed up the fore stock for the Bar and added the carry handle for it even though it wasn't used in ww2

Vanguard multiplayer is supposed to pass after the 45's, but there's isn't a fixed date, seeing post 50's guns are not as "out of place" as seeing the F2000 and the EM1 laser. And i blame warzone for this, as the F2000 and the EM1 came along with Menendez (BO2), Rorke (Ghosts), and Seraph(BO3 & 4), obviously SHG didn't care.

Why don't you make a video showcasing the "hidden" weapons that you use in the multiplayer videos with their tacticool attachments I mean, imagine making a video in MW3 showcasing the mk18 like the union guard video. What I'm going to say is that I genuinely love how the ex1 looks, it's definitely a massive upgrade from a.w., it just happens to be in a WW2 game. Here's my thoughts: I feel like sledgehammer really really REALLY wants to make an advance warfare 2. And to be perfectly honest I'm kinda digging that. The blueprint weapons in mw3 really hint at advanced warfare 2 cause some of them really look sci Fi and futuristic. If sledgehammer could refine the movement mechanics, add interesting customization, maybe some new fictional guns, I think it could be a fun shake up from the modern setting.
I was really bleak they left out weapons like the FG42 and Springfield . Also, it might have not been too historically inaccurate to add the RPD and SKS to the game as both of these had been approved for mass production by the end of the war. Maybe a 1950's setting for this game might not of been too bad of an idea. So many significant historical events to work with that haven’t been included in past games, and a better era for many of the weapons.
Even though i had very low expectations when it comes to Vanguard. I'm still disappointed with the lack of Japanese pistols. They could have added the Nambu Type 14, Nambu Type 26, or even the much more obscure Hamada Type 1. I guess *Sledgehammer* doesn't speak Japanese. 😑😑😑
Off topic, but that bird call you hear during the Bren segment is from a Burchell's Coucal. I'm assuming that map is supposed to be El-Alamein, but the furthest north you'll find that bird is Southern Malawi. So, the guns and history aren't the only things the research department at SG screwed up, lol.

It's funny to think that the AK-47 (at least the Type 1A, which was produced in 1947-1948) would've been a more accurate gun to have than the MBC-2, purely due to the fact it predates the MCB and is closer to WWII.
Personally, SH wants to make a new AW series, so the future weapons in F2000, EX1 and MW III seem to be their own lingering desires and greed. It's not like screaming or violent, but it's like a protest riot revolution targeting Activision Blizzard and Infinity Ward 🙄

It's funny to think that the AK-47 (at least the Type 1A, which was produced in 1947-1948) would've been a more accurate gun to have than the MBC-2, purely due to the fact it predates the MCB and is closer to WWII.

Personally, SH wants to make a new AW series, so the future weapons in F2000, EX1 and MW III seem to be their own lingering desires and greed.
