I have an Ulti Garlandolf, Ruin, Demise, and Divine Grace since those were my fiance's favorite cards, but nice on the playset, I know Ulti Demises are high in price, haven't check Garlandolf
Amorphactor Pain, you can summon it with the Odd-Eyes Advent ritual spell or anything that summons a dragon-type ritual monster, it's level 8, it makes your opponent skip their MP1, negate the effects of all monster's SS from the extra deck. It's a damned good card.
@John Smith I dont want them in the extra deck. Half of the fun was you needed a ritual spell and the monster in hand to get them out. Which made it harder for them to be summoned...which I wonder why is a harder to summon monster not more powerful? I mean the only buff rituals got was you can have multiples on the field without needing a link. Which is fun if you run the two best rituals, Odd-eyes gravity dragon and Chaos Max Blue eyes. Having two or more gravity's is fun to pop back row and nice to burn trickstars at their own game. BIG BLUE is fun to make people second guess putting monsters in defense mode and more. The problem is...umm that's it. The other rituals suck. Or only play the supporting role of just being able to help once and well not being able to do much else. I really think rituals need buffs in spells and monster abilities because it's hard to play a ritual archetype without using impcantions
If you put Vendread Slayer on the list because of its support I'm sure Black Luster Solider - Super Solider could have taken its place with his support Beginning Knight and Evening Twilight Knight who give it the effect to banish 2 monsters on the field, a card in the hand until their next end phase and can attack twice if it destroys a monster while it's own effect is a Flamewing man effect. I also would have put Amorphactor Pain, the Imagination Dracoverload which skips the opponents next main phase 1 and negated the effects of all their extra deck monsters expect Pendulums and Links. But yeah other than that every other card does earn their place.

BLAZYTONY Amorphactor does have a ritual spell that being the Amorphage Field Spell and it can be summoned through Odd-Eyes Advent because Odd-Eyes Advent is for any Dragon Ritual Monster and can be used to summon from a ritual from hand or GY so it's not that hard to bring out

If could use pre-preparation or preparation would be much better..but can't is too much for just a monster Even for The rituals.

Shakrom It kinda is tho. For a ritual monster in today's world, in a still decently powerful deck, easily searched and brought out, with 4k body and built in protection, with the double piercing, it's a very scary boss monster than can even run over Master Piece.
Bruh how could you leave out Black Luster Soldier! He's one of the OG Ritual monsters and although a Black Luster Soldier Super Soldier deck isn't the best, when he comes out he can get to banishing everything and get very troublesome if not dealt with quickly!
It is not dominant I mean in terms of mechanics you have to build your deck for it It does have some impactful moment Seto summon Blue-eyes chaos max dragon So ritual summon is rare but it is a method of summoning that always make an impact
A bit sad that BLS Super Soldier wasnt on there, hes a big boy and kinda like Revendread with his own tributes, beginning knight and twilight knight, and has access to a few ritual spells that make him come out even faster.
The thing about odd eyes gravity dragon is that you can actually pendulum summon it and you can still put all those back in the hand and I know this because I only ever use the odd eyes performapal and magician deck
What do you mean "dark hole can't target cards"? I thought the whole point of dark hole is that it doesn't target monsters..if it doesn't say "target" on the card doesn't that mean it's just a destroy all, like heavy storm? Good video as always!
Love your videos Paul and Team APS! But I gotta be honest, where's the love for Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier? I do honestly believe it has plenty of OTK potential when piloted correctly. Plenty of banishing, hand disruption, and 2 attacks, and he floats when destroyed? I believe that deserves some attention! 🔥⚔️🔥
4:45 Finally there's someone else that pronounces "Saffira" correctly. Before now I've only seen PhoenixFlareX say her name correctly. It annoys me considering a lot of people have probably read Eragon and/or seen the movie to know how its pronounced because of that Saphira. Edit: And I'm glad someone acknowledged Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon too. I just wish it was searchable with Pre-Preparation of Rites, cause it has a good Ritual Spell Card (it's a lot like the new BLS Ritual Spell in that it can Ritual Summon from the Graveyard too).
What would everybody put Shinato, King of A Higher Plane at? I don’t know why, but I have a really close connection to the card, and I really like that it has an anti-defense effect and all, and it has the ATK and DEF to withstand a Blue-Eyes, which immediately made it my Boss Monster. I wanna know if everybody thinks if it was a card worth looking at, cuz I still think so.
Nekroz will always have the best ritual monsters. There will be no other deck like it because of it's complete control over the ritual mechanic to make it meta.

Slifer Slacker in mirror matches I always use twin burst and my opponent usually has no out since attacking or being attacked by twin burst means banishing chaos max
I'm surprised Demise, King of Armageddon wasn't on here. 2400 Atk and a field wipe for 2000lp is pretty damn good. I'd have liked to see Ruin, Queen of Oblivion just because she's dear to my heart. But I figured she'd not make the list. A personal favorite that people don't remember is Performance of Sword. She's as old school as Rituals get.
What about Demise, King of Armageddon? This guy is easy to summon, clears the entire field and can smack you for 2400. Bonus points if you add Doomdozer to really wreck people

Ok Revendread is in the list becuz it becomes good gaining the effects from the other vendreads you used to ritual summon him but Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier its not even included in the list? That's bullshit, when he is summoned using Evening Twilight Knight and Beginning Knight he gains this little effects: Banish 1 card from your opponent's hand, Banish 2 fucking monsters your opponent controls, can make a second attack in arrow if it destroy's an opponent's monster by battle AND inflict damage equal to that monster attack in the Graveyard. If you were considering gaining effects from other cards when summoned then Super Soldier should be Number 1 spot without a doubt don't you think? And don't even tell me that he is hard to summon, just read Super Soldier Origin.
pedro da rosa mello actually first thats no the point, Tarotrei is in the list and neither Shaddolls or Subterrors are that good, second the deck already topped in the OCG running the Invoked Spellbook engine and the link mechanic, i also have this deck irl and got second place in my locals cuz nobody even know what Super Soldier does and even if they pick the card to read, the effect is on the little guys you used to summon him, is a really good card and can be a surprise in the match, mixing the deck with Invoked makes it actually have some potential, should be in the list for sure

Would you recommend Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of the Duelist on Steam as a way for people new to Yu-Gi-Oh to learn the new play styles without having to look like an idiot at your local game shop? ALSO, Is it possible to just use one type of new summoning mechanic such as Pendulum, and still build a viable deck? (I don't have any tuner or xyz monsters in my deck)
I think it would have been cool if you add like one or two honorable mentions. Like Black Luster Solider or even Magician Of Black Chaos since he sort of helped start it with Relinquished (going by the show/ I want to say decks also). All in all great video. My comment was more of a person trying to get back into Yu-Gi-Oh and these were the first fusion monsters I saw and I believe were. Keep up the great work.
It's not Gravity Dragon that's bad. It's that damn ritual Odd-Eyes Advent. Making pendulums mandatory for tributes unless less your opponent has already set up sucks! I eventually got the big GD the work in shaddolls using Advanced Ritual Art instead of Advent but damn it if it's not hit or miss sometimes.
Well not sure if The chaos maxx deserved to be so high but yeah still a great ritual. And well i would add: Lord of red ( kinda like The revendread but without The coming support ) Amorphactor but need it to have his own ritual Magic insteant of being a field. Suavaris ( i think is his name,dragon level 7,light negates targets from The hand and negates special summons bouncing back himself to the hand while on the field and banish The negate stuff) but still doesnt have his own ritual. Anyways good top most of them yeah definitely The best ones.
That chaos max and trishula tandem are very strong.. In ocg, the djinn and shurit of nekroz are both unbanned.. Bcoz of that, its not hard to lock your opponent from SS while beating him w/ chaos max..
To that Blue Eyes one it kinda reminds me of Bloom Diva The Melodious Choir Just how annoying it is once she drops You take no battle damage from battles involving it It can't be destroyed by battle or by card effects And it has a nifty little trick to where when you hit a special summoned monster it is destroyed and once that happens the opponent loses the difference in attack. and she only has 1000 attack, most special summoned monsters go a bit higher.
And Rippling. He obviously meant the original Mirror Force otherwise he would have said otherwise, which is strange because nobody uses it and everybody uses the elemental ones for obvious reasons.
Did my comment get deleted? lol, wtf. Yeah the original MF has seen a resurgence, but it's nothing Storming can't do. Storming is the all around most versatile one with Links out, plus you could get your Kajius back. Blazing is definitely under-rated too, especially in burn/direct attacking decks. Quaking is my favorite (Watts and Chaos MAXX too OP), but Rippling is the best in Yosenjus. So either Blazing/Quaking/Rippling in specific decks, or Storming in all other cases. I'd even rather take Blazing over the plain Mirror Force if I needed a 4th Mirror Force. Zoo's always attack with Extra Deck monsters anyways, so Storming works just fine.
OmegaPyron Once I was playing with my custom BECMGP deck against a regular BECM, I used quaking on its Chaos Max and OTK'd with my Chaos Max against its Chaos Max :D
I'm building a more ritual summon heavy deck, anyone got any suggestions? So far the only ritual monsters + spells I've got are the old school Demise and Relinquished.
personally I believe Benten is the best cyber angel. the amounts of card advantage she get's the deck she's in is insane, and without her her deck is severely crippled, and the same can be said for heralds now. But that's just me (Vrash is a BEAST though, so i respect ur choice for her for the list)

Ironically I think Benten would be higher if you included it. Benten migates the ritual problems so much.

Ok Revendread is in the list becuz it becomes good gaining the effects from the other vendreads you used to ritual summon him but Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier its not even included in the list? That's bullshit, when he is summoned using Evening Twilight Knight and Beginning Knight he gains this little effects: Banish 1 card from your opponent's hand, Banish 2 fucking monsters your opponent controls, can make a second attack in arrow if it destroy's an opponent's monster by battle AND inflict damage equal to that monster attack in the Graveyard. If you were considering gaining effects from other cards when summoned then Super Soldier should be Number 1 spot without a doubt don't you think? And don't even tell me that he is hard to summon, just read Super Soldier Origin.

pedro da rosa mello actually first thats no the point, Tarotrei is in the list and neither Shaddolls or Subterrors are that good, second the deck already topped in the OCG running the Invoked Spellbook engine and the link mechanic, i also have this deck irl and got second place in my locals cuz nobody even know what Super Soldier does and even if they pick the card to read, the effect is on the little guys you used to summon him, is a really good card and can be a surprise in the match, mixing the deck with Invoked makes it actually have some potential, should be in the list for sure

Would you recommend Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of the Duelist on Steam as a way for people new to Yu-Gi-Oh to learn the new play styles without having to look like an idiot at your local game shop?
ALSO, Is it possible to just use one type of new summoning mechanic such as Pendulum, and still build a viable deck?
(I don't have any tuner or xyz monsters in my deck)
herald should be 2 or 1 because it can negate multiple times per turn. i remember playing against it and the guy negated 4 of my cards
I think it would have been cool if you add like one or two honorable mentions. Like Black Luster Solider or even Magician Of Black Chaos since he sort of helped start it with Relinquished (going by the show/ I want to say decks also). All in all great video. My comment was more of a person trying to get back into Yu-Gi-Oh and these were the first fusion monsters I saw and I believe were. Keep up the great work.
It's not Gravity Dragon that's bad. It's that damn ritual Odd-Eyes Advent. Making pendulums mandatory for tributes unless less your opponent has already set up sucks! I eventually got the big GD the work in shaddolls using Advanced Ritual Art instead of Advent but damn it if it's not hit or miss sometimes.
Well not sure if The chaos maxx deserved to be so high but yeah still a great ritual.
And well i would add:
Lord of red ( kinda like The revendread but without The coming support )
Amorphactor but need it to have his own ritual Magic insteant of being a field.
Suavaris ( i think is his name,dragon level 7,light negates targets from The hand and negates special summons bouncing back himself to the hand while on the field and banish The negate stuff) but still doesnt have his own ritual. Anyways good top most of them yeah definitely The best ones.
That chaos max and trishula tandem are very strong.. In ocg, the djinn and shurit of nekroz are both unbanned.. Bcoz of that, its not hard to lock your opponent from SS while beating him w/ chaos max..
To that Blue Eyes one it kinda reminds me of Bloom Diva The Melodious Choir

You take no battle damage from battles involving it
It can't be destroyed by battle or by card effects
And it has a nifty little trick to where when you hit a special summoned monster it is destroyed
and once that happens the opponent loses the difference in attack.
and she only has 1000 attack, most special summoned monsters go a bit higher.
Rituals would perhaps benefit from searching support, generic ritual summoning spells, and recycling cards from GY.

You can actually use Storming Mirror Force and Quaking Mirror Force against CMD, simply because they are not targetters
And Rippling. He obviously meant the original Mirror Force otherwise he would have said otherwise, which is strange because nobody uses it and everybody uses the elemental ones for obvious reasons.
OmegaPyron alot of people used OG mirror force against zoo since they dont really float.
Did my comment get deleted? lol, wtf. Yeah the original MF has seen a resurgence, but it's nothing Storming can't do. Storming is the all around most versatile one with Links out, plus you could get your Kajius back. Blazing is definitely under-rated too, especially in burn/direct attacking decks. Quaking is my favorite (Watts and Chaos MAXX too OP), but Rippling is the best in Yosenjus.
So either Blazing/Quaking/Rippling in specific decks, or Storming in all other cases. I'd even rather take Blazing over the plain Mirror Force if I needed a 4th Mirror Force. Zoo's always attack with Extra Deck monsters anyways, so Storming works just fine.
OmegaPyron Once I was playing with my custom BECMGP deck against a regular BECM, I used quaking on its Chaos Max and OTK'd with my Chaos Max against its Chaos Max :D
The only time I summoned the card I was playing a Dino deck and ultimate conductor tyranno flipped it over destroyed like it was nothing.
I'm building a more ritual summon heavy deck, anyone got any suggestions? So far the only ritual monsters + spells I've got are the old school Demise and Relinquished.

personally I believe Benten is the best cyber angel. the amounts of card advantage she get's the deck she's in is insane, and without her her deck is severely crippled, and the same can be said for heralds now. But that's just me (Vrash is a BEAST though, so i respect ur choice for her for the list)
Im not going to say your list is wrong. I mean, it's your opinion and actually I like it. Though if I made a list Black Luster Soldier would be on there. Im a nostalgic fool. Lol
