And the worst thing? The Emoji Movie has grossed $86.1 million in the United States and Canada and $129.7 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $215.8 million, against a production budget of $50 million. It made people rich....
While I agree with 99% of everything you guys say here about this terrible movie, I do need to give Patrick Stewart some respect cred. Not sure if you guys are just unaware, or not remembering, but Stewart has done voices on Family Guy, and been a regular character on American Dad, for years. He has stated multiple times in the press that he loves doing VO work, particularly of the racy variety, and I have to assume that includes poop jokes in a kids movie. I was honestly pretty surprised no one offered him a part in Sausage Party, and I hope we get to see him voicing more adult-themed stuff, in the future. So, no, he is not senile, and I doubt it was all about money. I think he genuinely enjoys doing silly stuff like this.
"We'll be back next week with another terrible movie that we enjoyed a lot more..." Let's see... The Disaster Artist is coming out next week, which is a movie about the production of The Room. Oh, I wonder what the next honest trailer could be...

I forgot about "The Brave Little Toaster" until they started talking about objects being alive. That was awesome back in the day. But it was about a story and used objects as characters.
