And it should be Grass Fire, because I don't think we have a grass fire type pokemon in the series yet. That would just put the butter on top of the corn. ... Okay, I will never use that phrase again.
Yes you should make a popcorn split evolution! I saw someone mention that female ones evolve into the corn, while the male ones evolve into the popcorn evolution. You could even name one of the forms “Pappacorn” like Papa and Popcorn. It should be a grass-fire type
What if and here me out, instead of being fire or electric type the popcorn Pokémon could be grass ghost and be based on the term corn husks, corn fungi, and the zombies from last of us? The ones with the popcorn esk heads?
We need a jaguar Pokemon. There is a specific jaguar called "el jefe" (the boss, in spanish) that is the last known Jaguar in the USA (Arizona near Mexico) A big, bad boss jaguar based on this jaguar as well as the religious significance of jaguars in Aztec and Mayan mythology would make a BA Pokemon
The evolution could be like this Burnt + level up(this would be the common base for all) with fairy type in second slot (The one that is usually next to the main pokemon)= sweet corn. rock water pokemon in second slot =salty. Electric or flying(For the "speed")=butter. Level up by rare candy = Toffee.
The split evolution could be this: A fungi often grows in corn turning it grey and lumpy, it could be a grass poison or grass fairy, because this fungi isn’t really a pest
Okay I want this corn to have a load of evoultions stemed from the 'physiqal' types (rock, ground, poison) generally uncute things & the corn will still be cute despite it.

@@biconstanner6315 That's not true, actually. Twins can be from the opposite gender, even identical twins. Unless you meant conjoined twins, which as far as I know are always the same gender.
Man, regenrator ability, high HP, decently high defenses, and grass typing? I feel like this thing is gonna be amazing competitively, ESPECIALLY with regenerator.
So this doesn't really match the setting of mexico, but if you see this, then here's something that i think needs to be in pokemon. There is no legendary bug type. There's genesect, who's mythical, but not legendary. And in real american mythos, there is a legend of a grand bug. Mothman. Why is there not a Pokemon for Mothman? Mothman is a classic cryptid, which matches the prompt for bug legendary perfectly. And in it's mythos, whenever anyone sees it, bad things follow, but this can be interpreted as a benevolent figure trying to warn people of coming danger. That feels like such a cool prompt that it stuns me it isn't in pokemon already.
It has been used with Absol, but Absol looks a lot more cute in my opinion (I guess not to the townsfolk in the shows) BUT I LOVE MOTHMAN! I was always very interested in the stories of mothman and loved what he was depicted as. I would suggest he is a Bug-Dark type, or Bug-Fighting to knock out those unused typings.
For a more mexican Bug Legendary, there's a legend of Quetzalcoatl transforming into an ant to steal a grain of corn for the mexicas to harvest, so maybe an alternative form of the box legendary a la Giratina or the genie trio, or the local "cute legendary" of the region?
Honestly didn't hear corn at first but like I had an interesting grass type idea with a ghost grass type based off marigolds during Día de Muertos where they're a ghost connected to the flower and uses it as a distraction
Speeeeaaaakkiiing of Grass types... Seeing as you're making an odd numbered region will you be making a 2 stage mushroom pokemon that learns spore; just as ever odd numbered generation before you has had? You know, for tradition? :)
Just looked up "Mexican corn fungus", and found the creepiest thing... Maybe a split evolution? Ghost type sounds appropriate. Or poison type. Called Corn Smut. Really creepy...
@@dcbandit I looked up your fungus and tbh it made me stop craving corn. I think some kind of beast-like creature with designs based off of the Mexican Dutch King mushrooms would be cool. I can imagine a beast with a larger chest area and longer arms with rows of these long, skinny mushrooms growing out of it's back, and it's tail basically being a long mushroom, which would open up to unleash the spores
@@MorbidGames666 totally the hidden ability could be like cherrim where if hit by a fire move or sunny day it has a form change at the final stage effecting stats or moves
Just an idea: maybe you could pull a spinda kinda thing with this Pokémon and make the kernels random colors, and the colors that they start with stay in the design all the way through. Just a thought I had
One thing I’ve always loved about different cultures is there cryptids! The odd creatures that populate there region, how wold you feel about making a chupacabra based Pokémon? (I uh... I just saw the chupacabre one... STILL WANT MORE!)
I love all of them I was always a fan of Pokémon that share one body and I’m a big fan of this one because haveing a Pokémon with a bunch of corn with faces in it just makes me love so much more
An option for a fire water type pokemon is a FLAMEingo, a combination of the blue-footed Bobi and a Flamingo, A pink bird with long blue legs surrounded by steam, only will roost near geyers
You could make a split final evolution (maybe dark type) based on huitlacoche (a black tasty fungus that grows in maize) in Mexico its also eaten, while in other countries it's considered a plague.
You'll probably not see this or do this but I have an idea for the Mazah Region! I thought of this during class, talking about fuels, in my case biofuels/biodiesel fuels. Since you've already made a corn pokemon I and corn can create ethanol a type of energy I though for a biofuel Koffing regional variant! It could be grass type, being fueled by Zea-Zaya and their evolutions with the bumps being like the bumps on microbes who turn the corn's sugars into ethanol. And maybe make an exclusive evolution only in the Mazah Region, like Mudmache, that happens when traded with a Zea-Zaya making both evolve! Anyways that's all. Like I said, you'll probably never see this but yeah, a Pokemon idea!
Make a Two Headed Rock/Dragon Based On The Turquoise dragon in the British museum. Also make the Legendaries based on Sound And Colour so then you can focus the story on arts, something the aztecs/mayans are famous for
i'd appreciate it more if some pokemon had crazier stat distrubition where one of their stats is rather high while others are lower. most of your fakemon have rather balanced stats and while it's good, crazier stats could diversify them in general design and lore wise they're so good though

Yes you should make a popcorn split evolution! I saw someone mention that female ones evolve into the corn, while the male ones evolve into the popcorn evolution. You could even name one of the forms “Pappacorn” like Papa and Popcorn. It should be a grass-fire type
The final form looks like something id spend hours levelling the freindship levels on and evolving
We need a grass/fire type, and popcorn could work to accomplish that! Go for it!
thats a very good idea
PLEASE do grass/electric popcorn Pokémon that evolve when they wake up after being ko'd with a fire move
Or grass fire, Wait thats when you mess up-
What if and here me out, instead of being fire or electric type the popcorn Pokémon could be grass ghost and be based on the term corn husks, corn fungi, and the zombies from last of us? The ones with the popcorn esk heads?
If he doesn’t do this, can I make it?
@@officersoulknight6321 yes
Please explain the electric typing.
Me encanta que siga fielmente el crecimiento del maíz, incluyendo los filamentos de fecundación que se representan en la segunda etapa 10/10

this was everything i could think of while watching the video
Hello, my name is Colonel Cornelius Cornwall...
We need a jaguar Pokemon. There is a specific jaguar called "el jefe" (the boss, in spanish) that is the last known Jaguar in the USA (Arizona near Mexico)
A big, bad boss jaguar based on this jaguar as well as the religious significance of jaguars in Aztec and Mayan mythology would make a BA Pokemon
I could see it work as a mythical, it being the last of its kind and all.
Jaguar warrior Pokemon.
Imagine a popcorn pokemon with different forms based on like sweet, salty, toffee, butter? Maybe not but I'd love that.
The burnt + level is the idea of Quoboro
I think a popcorn Pokémon with machine gun elements would be awesome
The split evolution could be this:
A fungi often grows in corn turning it grey and lumpy, it could be a grass poison or grass fairy, because this fungi isn’t really a pest
Okay I want this corn to have a load of evoultions stemed from the 'physiqal' types (rock, ground, poison) generally uncute things & the corn will still be cute despite it.
The split evolution should be like shedninja, where if you have space in the party and if Zhusk is hit by a fire type attack before leveling up
"There's a myth that humans were created by zea-zaya".
Arceus: "Am I a joke to you?"
Aztec mythology vs Christianity
Arceus pales at the thought of facing them, their power eclipses his. For they are corn
I had an idea since temples are one of the first things that pop up when you search things popular in Mexico I thought you could make an evolutionary line of rock - fairy pokemon based on traps, statues, treasure and history
Yoooo, Mazahian Probopass inspired by the Olmec heads
@@TheLuizAngulo that would make probopass so much more popular
@@VeebieWeebie Yes, It is so overlooked. I think that Probopass being the HEAD pokemon is a good fit, but I also think it can be a completely new pokemon.
the split evolution is a brilliant idea and i think it has so much potential. also, i agree that this is easily one of the best pokémon designs you’ve made so far it works so well, i’m thoroughly impressed!
*Come on down, and try some corn, or we will sacrifice your newborn, AAAAA-*
but i don't have a newborn.....

Question out of curiosity: are Mayzmen all conjoined, or are they able to freely leave and rejoin the colony at will?
I'd say it's probably like Zhusk where they can be shot out for attacks but just come straight back
They can leave but theyd be lonely :'(
I think that for reproduction's sake they should be able to leave. Maybe the first "cojoined" pair is a male and a female starting a new colony, with them either being genderless but able to reproduce on the daycare with other mayzmen or member of the same eggroup or with the "alpha" of the colony representing the gender they have.
@@Artemisarrowzz maybe the twins are both of The same gender, since irl twins are always from the same sex
@@biconstanner6315 That's not true, actually. Twins can be from the opposite gender, even identical twins. Unless you meant conjoined twins, which as far as I know are always the same gender.
How about a ghost-rock type variant of the Aegislash line based off if the favored obsidian weapons of the Aztecs. It could be really great!
Macana
Good idea
that... is...
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
I just realized the shiny kind of looks like an atom.
Yeah

@@L-Envies Hi!
The popcorn evolution could come about by exposure to a heatsource wich makes them burst with energy....in a positive way
When he was designing zhusk he put up the final evolution when he was coloring it LOL
I would reserve a special box in my PC for this line specifically and name it the Corn Hub
Honestly didn't hear corn at first but like I had an interesting grass type idea with a ghost grass type based off marigolds during Día de Muertos where they're a ghost connected to the flower and uses it as a distraction
I love the new corn line!! They look amazing and I absolutely love the shiny versions of them. I too am infatuated with corn
The middle Mayzmen: (the one who peed in the pool)
The bottom middle Mayzmen: (the one who witnessed it happen)
Speeeeaaaakkiiing of Grass types... Seeing as you're making an odd numbered region will you be making a 2 stage mushroom pokemon that learns spore; just as ever odd numbered generation before you has had? You know, for tradition? :)
Wow, I never realized it, but yeah, their HAS been a new fungus pokemon every odd gen. Just looked it up.
These designs are a-MAIZE-ing!
...I'll see myself out.
Get your 🐴 back here you get an Oscar

Why do I love this concept so much.
And yes. There should 100% be a popcorn one.
Could totally go down the path of a tortilla/taco line as well... but yes, give us the popcorn Pokémon we desire
Ability: popcorn
If the opponent uses a fire type move, than your pokemon’s damage, defense, and health goes up
Make it a hidden ability and we've got a deal
@@MorbidGames666 totally the hidden ability could be like cherrim where if hit by a fire move or sunny day it has a form change at the final stage effecting stats or moves
I suppose a decrease in defence (less dense) and an increase in attack (bloody hot)
@@ruchick6155 defence goes up because hot
@@ruchick6155 sort of like the thorns enchantment in minecraft
This looks perfect for a pseudo legendary even though it isn’t. It just seems, Perfect!
Just an idea: maybe you could pull a spinda kinda thing with this Pokémon and make the kernels random colors, and the colors that they start with stay in the design all the way through. Just a thought I had
And maybe even keep the face expressions with those random too. I'm just spit Ballin here
One thing I’ve always loved about different cultures is there cryptids! The odd creatures that populate there region, how wold you feel about making a chupacabra based Pokémon?
(I uh... I just saw the chupacabre one... STILL WANT MORE!)
My mom is actually allergic to corn, but I like corn quite a bit! She says she likes the flavor tho-
Same with me with shrimp like the taste but can't eat it
-is she alive?
@@arandomhewo7966 present tense, she's still alive
@@amirulamani1487 thx but it was written a day ago so- *quivers in fear*
She’s alright, she just doesn’t eat it, but back when she used to she enjoyed the flavor.
I don’t dislike corn, I feel kinda meh about it. Ate corn every Sunday for like 7 years and got sick of it
I love all of them I was always a fan of Pokémon that share one body and I’m a big fan of this one because haveing a Pokémon with a bunch of corn with faces in it just makes me love so much more
I think a mazah variant of bulbasaur would be cool since there are alot of beautiful plants that live in Mexico
An option for a fire water type pokemon is a FLAMEingo, a combination of the blue-footed Bobi and a Flamingo, A pink bird with long blue legs surrounded by steam, only will roost near geyers
I think it should be influenced by flamenco dancing
oh this this is beautiful
@@purpledurple621 yeah, that could be cool but that is already a pokemon in Oricorio and it would lose the whole water-based theme
I've always imagined a corn kernel Pokemon evolving into a popcorn.. it could evolve with a sunstone or something of the sort..
Corn is one of my favorite grains/fruits/ vegetables (it’s a lot of things) and I *adore these guys*
You could make a split final evolution (maybe dark type) based on huitlacoche (a black tasty fungus that grows in maize) in Mexico its also eaten, while in other countries it's considered a plague.
I must agree with you, I absolutely love Mayzmen. Definitely one of my favorites
The popcorn split evoultion should have some kin of grease abbilty that boosts fire types moves for & against it!
I LOVE Zea-Zaya's shiny. The reference to the differently-colored corn is brilliant.
Make a Two Headed Rock/Dragon Based On The Turquoise dragon in the British museum. Also make the Legendaries based on Sound And Colour so then you can focus the story on arts, something the aztecs/mayans are famous for

I'm in love with Mayzmen omg. This line would be in my party in this region immediately.
I guess you can say... it's...
*Amayzmen........*
i'd appreciate it more if some pokemon had crazier stat distrubition where one of their stats is rather high while others are lower. most of your fakemon have rather balanced stats and while it's good, crazier stats could diversify them in general
design and lore wise they're so good though
subjectively :"who doesn't like corn?"
