I really like the idea of every new region having a new Meowth variant, because it kind of reflects the diversity of cat breeds and how we humans have taken cats to basically every corner of the globe.
Meowth still feels like its missing its other ear; even from the angle/pose chosen, a bit of it would probably be still visible. But aside from that one nitpick, wonderful designs and concepts!

Getting someone to help you with stats is a solid idea. I know in particular some of your past variants have been very egregious with breaking stat rules lol. Your Halloween Florges had stats so much lower than base Florges it looked a lot more like Florges' prevo Floette.
It is awesome how you have not only improved as an artist, but have been able to create and re-create designs that stay true to your original style. I absolutely love these new regional variants and truly wish these designs could be canon.
All of these designs look extremely solid. The tweaks to the grass starter make it look more clean and enjoyable to look at. The full redesigns for Maractus and Mudbray are 100% better than their original forms and the regional Meowth and Persian designs are very well done. I can't wait to see what other pokemon get more forms or what more fakemon you create!
I would like to see more of the standard “main three types alternatives”, those Pokémon by the likes of Vileplume, Arcanine and Lapras which fill up the spots in a team for trainers which need the three starter types. Maybe that’s an opportunity to try fun type combinations, regardless if they’ve been done before!
I defiantly think that's a great idea, Mayzmen fits the grass alt very well, it could be cool to see something like a scuba diver/snorkeling Pokémon when you go into caves, or for a fire type a Pokémon with a sun motif like the one you see in a lot of iconography, or a fire/fairy Pokémon that is connected to chocolate (Mexico has a great connection to chocolate as well as quetzalcoatl, so fire type could be an interesting take, I'm not sure)
@@7thchariot324 yes!! Spicy chocolate is a wonderful experience you can get in Mexico. I think that would be an amazing idea. Anything chocolate or cocoa themed would be nice.

They are surely something interesting, and I think they would fit great as new Pokémon, and just like the comment above said, make a Fire/Fairy type because of the sweet stuff usually being related to fairy type in Pokémon, just like Slurpuff or Alcremie!
10:30 A small set of clarifications/minor corrections (none that invalidate the concept or anything!): Most Jaguar warriors didn't wear Jaguar pelts, and while high status, they were on the low end of elite titles/ranks: Rather then being made from Jaguar Pelts, their warsuits, called Tlahuiztli in Nahuatl (this would be worn over the Ichcahuipilli, a sort of gambeson vest or tunic) are made from a thick cotton base and them decorated with tens to hundreds of thousands of feathers, with the feathers of different colors arranged to make varying patterns, in this case Jaguar spots, but for other titles and ranks different geometric designs or mythological themes. (This same feather mosiac art technique was adapted to in the colonial period to make gorgeous iridesecent "paintings" of catholic religious imagery made of feathers). There are some sources though which say that soldiers who entered the Jaguar order via merit as commoners , as opposed to being nobles, had to make do with Tlahuiztli made from actual pelts rather then fine feathers and had less fancy barracks. On that note, the Jaguar order was actually the LEAST prestigious of the 4 knightly orders in the Mexica military: Jaguar (and Eagle, though the relative scarciity of Eagle depictions makes researchers believe it was more selective) was open to those who had captured at least 4 enemy soldiers and other great deeds, while the Otonin (named after a neighboring civilization, the Otomi) and Cuachicqueh (Shorn One) orders had higher requirements. It's also worth noting that these aren't "ranks" in the traditional sense, of which the Mexica military DID have, rather as 4 orders separate from the normal military structure. There were also officer/general titles, such as the Tlacateccatl ("Cutter of Men") and Tlacochcalcatl ("Master of the House of Darkness") etc, some of which may have been a part of that traditional rank structure, but many of which were probably specific titles or roles granted on specific soldiers as a reward for exceptional military duty, which is probably why there's a lot of contradiction in different sources on the exact roles specific titles had as non-martial duties they conferred in the judicial and police system. I worked with InvictaHistory on an Aztec rank video and there was a lot of points of frustration over the amount of conflicting information there, to where we basically glossed over dozens of different officer titles that there are records over, which in retrospect was something I wish I had handled better, though the video itself (especially paired with my pinned comment of clarifications) is still a good resource. As I said, none of this invalidates or demeans the regional Meowth concept, which I think is cute, though personally I would have made the generic green feather ornament on his head a set of tassels, matching the Quetzallalpiloni tassels worn by Aztec nobility, seen in the Jaguar Warrior art in the video.
Oh my goodness, Mazian Maractus and Mudbray are adorable, I could see them being actual variants!! I love the design choices you took, simple and obvious, but not too simple to the point it looks lazy. The colors are pleasing to look at, too! I wish they were real, they just seem really cool.
I love the Meowth variants !! Made me think about how cool it would be to have Spearow and Fearow redesigns based on the aztec eagle warriors ! it could bring a fresh twist to sadly overlooked pokémon
Stats wise, none of them are overpowered, but there’s way too many special attackers as opposed to physical attackers, so maybe just add a few more physically oriented Pokémon

I genuinely love the idea of Meowth being almost Eevee-levels of hyperadaptable to the point where it will just become different even if it might not need to. I think it’s a cool twist on an icon that is otherwise not very interesting.
Your Meowth family is easily my favorite variants! Absolutely love the direction you took them with a cohesive theme that blends them together and makes complete sense. Making the shinies be different large cats was genius as well. My only feedback would be that the Persian gold skull blends in a little too well with the darker part of its coat and doesn't quite look gold. It's much less noticeable at 14:56 when zoomed out and on a lighter background.
Im still hoping that one day there will be a pomegranate pokemon that is grass/fire and makes fun of the fact that in spanish it's called ''granada'' wich also means grenade.
I mean if you remove the outer layer it could easily look like the segmentation on a stereotypical fragmentation grenade. Sort of like a less aggressive Voltorb
i _love_ the new spicy demon design. your first maractus looked quite caricature-esque, but the new design is more pokémon-like, and the pepper theme definitely pops more without the sombrero. the new face works wonders for the personality, as well!
I really like the original pose of Molucotta, I think it really emphasizes the sort of “unfamiliar” vibes it gives off. It’s almost as if it is scared of something completely new it is seeing. The pose makes it appear smaller too. But HOLY SHIT those maractus and mudbray designs look so great!

Can you make a Mazian Form for Solrock as the Counterpart of the Lunatone Hallowed form? Like Huitzilopochtli of myths Then you will basically have 2 versions like sun and moon but with a twist One contain the Mazian Form The other are Hallowed Form
that absolute glow up of Maractus is so so good my goodness also I'm so jealous of this insanely nice improvement of style, you can really tell how much you've improved, your drawings look far more solid and like "beteer choices" where made in it's process, great stuff!
I can't believe you felt the need to "fix" any of these designs, the entire Mazah region has the best fakemon designs I've ever seen! And yet I'm not complaining because somehow the new designs ARE better! I also love love love Mazian Persian, I honestly think it would be one of my new favorite pokemon if it was real.
Honestly, I agree besides Meractus. Meractus really did feel like a parody of itself. I love the new design actually playing with more things other than “ITS MEXICAN!!! LOOK ITS MEXICAN!!” It’s really the only design that fell flat on its face to me, and now it’s WAY better because it has so many different inspirations :]
The new meowth and Persian regional forms look amazing. However, the meowth is missing a second ear (which would still be seen from the angle that you drew it)

I love that you made a new Meowth, keep the tradition going. also Masian Persion might be one of my favorite Pokémon and I'm sad I cannot have one cannot wait for you to do an ice type or steel type (funny enough my two favorite types). deserts tend to get cold during the night so maybe something like an icy scorpion Pokémon that comes out at night would be cool, their poison freezes their prey monarch butterfly's fly to Mexico to hibernate, so a royal butterfly Pokémon would be cool so i really hope you make some Pokémon that are Counterparts, a lot of Pokémon games will have these where the Pokémon either parallels each other or they are counter parts of each other a Pokémon whos design is meant to match the villainous team would also be cool, their are some Pokémon who you can tell had their designs influenced by the villains of their regions, Pokémon like carvanha, numel, litleo, and galarian Zigzagoon have designs and themes that match their villainous team also exited for pseudo legendary axolotl, know you will make it great
I'm surprised you didn't have your cake and eat it with the Meowth evolutions- Have Mazian Meowth evolve into Mazian Persian, but then give Mazian Persian its own unique evolution, Maybe they go back to being a bipedal warrior with a macuahuitl who returns to the Meowth colony they grew up in as a hero of sorts
omg yes listen to this, persian is too weak anyways and it would just be sad for it to not get any real use. it's also a good oportunity for exploring some crazy evolution method like sirfetch'd or runerigus, idk like maybe you need to go to a certain location in the region with only your mazian persian on the team and train it there until it defeats X number of wild pokemon or something like that. I really like the idea of going full circle, both in the lore of retuning home with meowths and the bipedial-again thing. I'd also love to see implemented the feather thing someone commented over here (that acc with so much really well researched lore of actual jaguar warriors).
The ability to see where your work could be improved from others & implementing that with your own style is truly commendable. I adore the new Meowth & I really wish the Grass starter was real so I could use it. My favorite so far.
the only issue I see if that if you have a party of just those Mudbray, your party would be invincible. Every time one gets knocked out, another would be revived and that cycle would repeat over and over.
Well, it says that when it’s knocked out, another Pokemon is fully healed, not revived. It’s possible that this ability doesn’t work on fainted Pokemon.
I love new Maractus so much omg....i want one Edit: The single notched ears on feral cats is actually to show they've been trapped and released after being spayed or neutered. Fighting cats are more likely to have ear tips fully torn off or ripped
I feel a slight alteration to Quetzalil might help them IMO. Every time I look at them they feel unbalanced (Literally), I can't really see them animated/in action. With that shortness/shape of them they look like they should be faceplanting on the ground unless their cone stops them, lol. Quexcell solves that issue with the wings now supporting more of the front weight, but Quezalil feels more like how metapod be and they rock back and forth with their shape, but with the cone makes that movement awkward. Maybe more curvature to the body, length in the tail to add weight on the base, or something to help it feel like its not going to fall the second it moves. If I'm reading the design wrong and how they move please tell so I can understand better.
Honestly thinking about it, Quexcell and Quetzalil could do with longer tails. It feels like they're bodies are the minimum length necessary to fill with features rather than long enough to move and flex. Feels like their lacking the serpentine body that their faces and names have
Great video, it think all the changes was major improvements! It’s so easy to just jump in into making new stuff all the time but going back, tweaking and polishing things is really interesting too! It really is a skill on it’s own too! Love to see more small refining updates of other Maza-mon every now and then! Ariamano and Noctavispa are probably the ones it think are in need of it the most, they just lack a bit of character/identity!
I love all these designs, this new Meowth would definitely be in my party, but if I were playing this as a game (prays to modding community), I'd be confused by Maractus not possessing a grass typing. It's a spicy vegetable, Fire/Grass just makes sense. Can't wait to see more! ✌🏼
I’m still holding out hope for a fairy type hummingbird Pokémon. I love the redesigns for mudbray and marractus( yeah the og was a bit tone deaf with the sombrero and mustache this is coming from a brown skinned Mexican).
I think all of the improvements were wonderful! I really like the new Meowth design, but I'm not a fan of the Persian's pose, and I think it could use a little something extra. I'm not sure what. Maybe armor on its paws to match the skull helmet? Or aztec/mayan jewelry made from the treasures it stole as a Meowth? (bracelets and/or a necklace)
I've watched this series so many times. I love it so much, especially how the ideas develop and grow. Gastronaut and the corn pokemon are now two of my favourite pokemon of all time.

Wow, there is a lot of potential here! I'm mainly speaking on the old designs, and ideas of these Pokemon, like your grass starter. It's cool that you changed it to be wearing pottery as armor, but the idea is still cool that they originally were covered in mud. Some advice I would say is don't throw it away. Add to that story the theme you have is communication with your starters, if I remember correctly at one point. If that is the case why not have the starter if wild, or not connected to it's trainer, wear mud armor, and as they deepen their friendship, the armor becomes the pottery armor. As the Maractus variants, keep both! There is nothing wrong with either. They can be from different box game variants. Like Dimond, and Pearl! I love all of the videos, you and your friends do, they keep me inspired to continue sketching! There are so many cool ideas, and inspired ideas that you give me in your videos. They are something I look forward to each time I see one. Continue the good work, and I can't wait to see you guys grow more!
i like grass/rock for Gastronaught instead of grass/ground, rock just feels more like armor. also imagine having it learn Power Gem and shooting it out of the cannon arm!

You know, if you're thinking about balancing out these Pokemon as though they were real, I would be glad to give my thoughts. Just so I'm not discussing over a dozen Pokemon, I'll stick to the ones covered in the video. 1. Gastronaut looks like a VERY good Trick Room Pokemon. That combination of HP and Defense is outstanding, and with a Special Attack of 105, it would definitely see play in a format with limited Pokemon(the Regional Dex, that is). Still, I think that its massive Ice weakness would stop it from getting too powerful, since Ice Beam is a very common coverage move. 2. Mudsmache's Fairy typing(which has historically been one of the best since Gen 6), good HP, and excellent Defense would already make it a solid Pokemon, but Party Popper adds a whole new element. Obviously, this has never seen play before, so I can't say exactly how strong it is. Still, if its movepool is any good at all, having that ability as a backup could be very useful for stall teams. Maybe it should just restore by half, because this sounds dangerous to me. 3. Mazian Maractus is fine. While the ability to resist Water with a Fire type is interesting, that doesn't apply to its Ground or Rock weaknesses. Given that most of those moves are physical, this Maractus' mediocre physical Defense would be a major weakness. Its weaknesses as a Grass type are much more manageable, given its high Special Defense, but that still makes it dependent on getting hit by a Water move. Maybe it could work in a double battle, with a partner that knows Surf, but the payoff just doesn't seem worth it. 4. Mazian Persian may be one of my favorite designs, but it's also the Pokemon I have the least information about. Jungle Camo boosts evasiveness, which isn't really allowed in many of the more organized settings, so it would have to use one of its secondary abilities. Without knowing that, I can only say that Persian's high speed would be good for using support moves, but with only an alright Attack stat, it probably wouldn't be very strong.
Teoyaomicqui (also Teoyaomiqui)- the god of dead warriors. You could make a new ghost fighting type Pokémon that’s kinda like the machamp line. Like a little boy turns into a great warrior... I know a little ghost dead boy sounds dark but I’m Aztec days of a boy didn’t go to school they where sent to military school
Itzpapalotl is a Aztec goddess of the dead too. And get this her name translates to Obsidian butterfly 🦋 imagine a giant skeletal butterfly with wings made of sharpened stones and it would also fit to have a butterfly Pokémon since Monarch butterflies migrate to Mexico in spring. We could have a bug/ghost type Pokémon besides Shedinja

The meowth shiny feels out of place, I get that you want a kinda snow leopard but a black jaguar makes much more sense. They already exist and are very rare.

I personally like all of your designs so it's hard to imagine how you could've possibly raised the bar with the redesigns and I'm absolutely floored. I like the new designs slightly better than the old ones only because mudbray looks more natural and the Sombrero could possibly be saved for a Mazian Ludicolo if you haven't made one already. (I'm binging at the moment. Lolz)

"Jungle Camo" is pretty cool ability.... BUT it feels like straight downgrade compared to "Scrappy" Also I trully think water starters should be always amphibious.... or at least have "levitate" as default.

Well, the trick is that people fight over who gets to hit it. That way, no one attacks it while they are still competing over who gets the spoils.

They are surely something interesting, and I think they would fit great as new Pokémon, and just like the comment above said, make a Fire/Fairy type because of the sweet stuff usually being related to fairy type in Pokémon, just like Slurpuff or Alcremie!

10:30 A small set of clarifications/minor corrections (none that invalidate the concept or anything!): Most Jaguar warriors didn't wear Jaguar pelts, and while high status, they were on the low end of elite titles/ranks: Rather then being made from Jaguar Pelts, their warsuits, called Tlahuiztli in Nahuatl (this would be worn over the Ichcahuipilli, a sort of gambeson vest or tunic) are made from a thick cotton base and them decorated with tens to hundreds of thousands of feathers, with the feathers of different colors arranged to make varying patterns, in this case Jaguar spots, but for other titles and ranks different geometric designs or mythological themes. (This same feather mosiac art technique was adapted to in the colonial period to make gorgeous iridesecent "paintings" of catholic religious imagery made of feathers). There are some sources though which say that soldiers who entered the Jaguar order via merit as commoners , as opposed to being nobles, had to make do with Tlahuiztli made from actual pelts rather then fine feathers and had less fancy barracks.
On that note, the Jaguar order was actually the LEAST prestigious of the 4 knightly orders in the Mexica military: Jaguar (and Eagle, though the relative scarciity of Eagle depictions makes researchers believe it was more selective) was open to those who had captured at least 4 enemy soldiers and other great deeds, while the Otonin (named after a neighboring civilization, the Otomi) and Cuachicqueh (Shorn One) orders had higher requirements. It's also worth noting that these aren't "ranks" in the traditional sense, of which the Mexica military DID have, rather as 4 orders separate from the normal military structure. There were also officer/general titles, such as the Tlacateccatl ("Cutter of Men") and Tlacochcalcatl ("Master of the House of Darkness") etc, some of which may have been a part of that traditional rank structure, but many of which were probably specific titles or roles granted on specific soldiers as a reward for exceptional military duty, which is probably why there's a lot of contradiction in different sources on the exact roles specific titles had as non-martial duties they conferred in the judicial and police system.
I worked with InvictaHistory on an Aztec rank video and there was a lot of points of frustration over the amount of conflicting information there, to where we basically glossed over dozens of different officer titles that there are records over, which in retrospect was something I wish I had handled better, though the video itself (especially paired with my pinned comment of clarifications) is still a good resource.
As I said, none of this invalidates or demeans the regional Meowth concept, which I think is cute, though personally I would have made the generic green feather ornament on his head a set of tassels, matching the Quetzallalpiloni tassels worn by Aztec nobility, seen in the Jaguar Warrior art in the video.

Oh my goodness, Mazian Maractus and Mudbray are adorable, I could see them being actual variants!! I love the design choices you took, simple and obvious, but not too simple to the point it looks lazy. The colors are pleasing to look at, too! I wish they were real, they just seem really cool.
I love the Meowth variants !! Made me think about how cool it would be to have Spearow and Fearow redesigns based on the aztec eagle warriors ! it could bring a fresh twist to sadly overlooked pokémon
Stats wise, none of them are overpowered, but there’s way too many special attackers as opposed to physical attackers, so maybe just add a few more physically oriented Pokémon

Your Meowth family is easily my favorite variants! Absolutely love the direction you took them with a cohesive theme that blends them together and makes complete sense.
Making the shinies be different large cats was genius as well.
My only feedback would be that the Persian gold skull blends in a little too well with the darker part of its coat and doesn't quite look gold. It's much less noticeable at 14:56 when zoomed out and on a lighter background.
Im still hoping that one day there will be a pomegranate pokemon that is grass/fire and makes fun of the fact that in spanish it's called ''granada'' wich also means grenade.

I really like the original pose of Molucotta, I think it really emphasizes the sort of “unfamiliar” vibes it gives off. It’s almost as if it is scared of something completely new it is seeing. The pose makes it appear smaller too. But HOLY SHIT those maractus and mudbray designs look so great!

Honestly, I agree besides Meractus. Meractus really did feel like a parody of itself. I love the new design actually playing with more things other than “ITS MEXICAN!!! omg yes listen to this, persian is too weak anyways and it would just be sad for it to not get any real use. it's also a good oportunity for exploring some crazy evolution method like sirfetch'd or runerigus, idk like maybe you need to go to a certain location in the region with only your mazian persian on the team and train it there until it defeats X number of wild pokemon or something like that. I really like the idea of going full circle, both in the lore of retuning home with meowths and the bipedial-again thing. I'd also love to see implemented the feather thing someone commented over here (that acc with so much really well researched lore of actual jaguar warriors).

the only issue I see if that if you have a party of just those Mudbray, your party would be invincible. Every time one gets knocked out, another would be revived and that cycle would repeat over and over.
Well, it says that when it’s knocked out, another Pokemon is fully healed, not revived. It’s possible that this ability doesn’t work on fainted Pokemon.
Oh that’s a good point. I thought that Full Restore was the one that revives a fainted Pokémon, but you’re right, it wouldn’t revive it.

Edit: The single notched ears on feral cats is actually to show they've been trapped and released after being spayed or neutered.
Fighting cats are more likely to have ear tips fully torn off or ripped
I feel a slight alteration to Quetzalil might help them IMO. Every time I look at them they feel unbalanced (Literally), I can't really see them animated/in action. With that shortness/shape of them they look like they should be faceplanting on the ground unless their cone stops them, lol. Quexcell solves that issue with the wings now supporting more of the front weight, but Quezalil feels more like how metapod be and they rock back and forth with their shape, but with the cone makes that movement awkward. Maybe more curvature to the body, length in the tail to add weight on the base, or something to help it feel like its not going to fall the second it moves.
If I'm reading the design wrong and how they move please tell so I can understand better.

Honestly thinking about it, Quexcell and Quetzalil could do with longer tails. It feels like they're bodies are the minimum length necessary to fill with features rather than long enough to move and flex. Feels like their lacking the serpentine body that their faces and names have

Great video, it think all the changes was major improvements! It’s so easy to just jump in into making new stuff all the time but going back, tweaking and polishing things is really interesting too! It really is a skill on it’s own too! Love to see more small refining updates of other Maza-mon every now and then! Ariamano and Noctavispa are probably the ones it think are in need of it the most, they just lack a bit of character/identity!

I love all these designs, this new Meowth would definitely be in my party, but if I were playing this as a game (prays to modding community), I'd be confused by Maractus not possessing a grass typing. It's a spicy vegetable, Fire/Grass just makes sense.

I think all of the improvements were wonderful! I really like the new Meowth design, but I'm not a fan of the Persian's pose, and I think it could use a little something extra. I'm not sure what. Maybe armor on its paws to match the skull helmet? Or aztec/mayan jewelry made from the treasures it stole as a Meowth? (bracelets and/or a necklace)
I've watched this series so many times. I love it so much, especially how the ideas develop and grow. Gastronaut and the corn pokemon are now two of my favourite pokemon of all time.

Wow, there is a lot of potential here! I'm mainly speaking on the old designs, and ideas of these Pokemon, like your grass starter. It's cool that you changed it to be wearing pottery as armor, but the idea is still cool that they originally were covered in mud. Some advice I would say is don't throw it away. Add to that story the theme you have is communication with your starters, if I remember correctly at one point.
If that is the case why not have the starter if wild, or not connected to it's trainer, wear mud armor, and as they deepen their friendship, the armor becomes the pottery armor. As the Maractus variants, keep both! There is nothing wrong with either. They can be from different box game variants. Like Dimond, and Pearl!
I love all of the videos, you and your friends do, they keep me inspired to continue sketching! There are so many cool ideas, and inspired ideas that you give me in your videos. i like grass/rock for Gastronaught instead of grass/ground, rock just feels more like armor. also imagine having it learn Power Gem and shooting it out of the cannon arm!

Pottery isn't made from rock, so ground fits better. Clay is essentially a special variety of mud.

I’d love to see a butterfly Pokémon based on Itzpapalotl( her name translates to Obsidian butterfly) and have it be bug/ghost type 🦋
You know, if you're thinking about balancing out these Pokemon as though they were real, I would be glad to give my thoughts. Just so I'm not discussing over a dozen Pokemon, I'll stick to the ones covered in the video.
1. Gastronaut looks like a VERY good Trick Room Pokemon. That combination of HP and Defense is outstanding, and with a Special Attack of 105, it would definitely see play in a format with limited Pokemon(the Regional Dex, that is). Still, I think that its massive Ice weakness would stop it from getting too powerful, since Ice Beam is a very common coverage move.
2. Mudsmache's Fairy typing(which has historically been one of the best since Gen 6), good HP, and excellent Defense would already make it a solid Pokemon, but Party Popper adds a whole new element. Obviously, this has never seen play before, so I can't say exactly how strong it is. Still, if its movepool is any good at all, having that ability as a backup could be very useful for stall teams. Maybe it should just restore by half, because this sounds dangerous to me.
3. Mazian Maractus is fine. While the ability to resist Water with a Fire type is interesting, that doesn't apply to its Ground or Rock weaknesses. Given that most of those moves are physical, this Maractus' mediocre physical Defense would be a major weakness. Its weaknesses as a Grass type are much more manageable, given its high Special Defense, but that still makes it dependent on getting hit by a Water move. Maybe it could work in a double battle, with a partner that knows Surf, but the payoff just doesn't seem worth it.
4. Mazian Persian may be one of my favorite designs, but it's also the Pokemon I have the least information about. Jungle Camo boosts evasiveness, which isn't really allowed in many of the more organized settings, so it would have to use one of its secondary abilities. Without knowing that, I can only say that Persian's high speed would be good for using support moves, but with only an alright Attack stat, it probably wouldn't be very strong.
Teoyaomicqui (also Teoyaomiqui)- the god of dead warriors. You could make a new ghost fighting type Pokémon that’s kinda like the machamp line. Like a little boy turns into a great warrior... I know a little ghost dead boy sounds dark but I’m Aztec days of a boy didn’t go to school they where sent to military school
Itzpapalotl is a Aztec goddess of the dead too. And get this her name translates to Obsidian butterfly 🦋 imagine a giant skeletal butterfly with wings made of sharpened stones and it would also fit to have a butterfly Pokémon since Monarch butterflies migrate to Mexico in spring. We could have a bug/ghost type Pokémon besides Shedinja

The meowth shiny feels out of place, I get that you want a kinda snow leopard but a black jaguar makes much more sense. They already exist and are very rare.
