Nice funk sound! Great fills!
Hello Fran. I love the smoothness of those triplet fills round the kit and the way you use the bass drum on them. I'm just getting into those. I can't wait to get them feeling saucy like that! I dig your whole ethos on drumming. I can't believe the arrogance of some of the comments, but you deal with them well. I'd be effing and blinding!(British term)
Tommy Igoe rules.
He has mics set up around the kit and would be capturing into a DAW (digital audio workstation -computer with a break-out box)setup. Then you take that mixed down sound file and put into a video editing program and sych up the video with the audio. Or his DAW software allows him to import the Vid directly into that. what makes it sound GOOD is his playing ability and the way he tunes his drumkit. really good
The fill at 1:29 is beyond cool man!!
cool~
yeah, your right. i just wanted to make sure you knew about that style on the right foot.
GJ :)
lay that shit down Great job man
What kind of drums do you have, they sound nice... by the way great fills and groove, I love the groove essentials book and DVD, like you said, any serious drummer should get it. :>
groovin VERY nicely!!
r those k hihats?? i dont know which hh's i should get in the k line. what do u recommend?
I am not some great drummer but one suggestion, when you play on the bas drum, after the te pedal hits the head dont leave it on the head. immediately take it off. My drum teacher majored in music and is always telling me it will gain my speed on the bass drum pedal.
heyy mann awesome playing!! what heads you got on your toms?!?!?
different snare drum from other video of the rock tune?
This is Groove #16, right? Any way you could do a lesson for Grooves #14 and 15? Or at least just #14, that is one that I'm working on now. I find that it's very hard to keep tempo as my arm gets worn out really quick. It requires a lot of endurance. Maybe that's why hardly anyone has done 14 and 15 on TH-cam?
