rx6600 is best for 1080p gaming. It is the most power efficient (to performance it offers) graphics card to have ever been made running at 100W. Best budget king IMO.
Looks like 8Gb working perfectly fine at 1080p and even 1440p mostly!
Depending on the game, even 6 GB or less is enough

Damn, i dind't know that a plague tale even more demanding than Cyberpunk and Dying Light 2. That makes the game become the most demanding PC game for now
Maybe a bit unoptmized aswell. RDR2 is also a graphic powerhouse and doesn't run like crap.
Looks like you can use RT as long as you lock the game to 30 fps. With off you can play anything at 60+ fps, not bad
this has pretty much been my experience with the card. Perfect for what I bought it for. Kinda like having a Series S but better (60+ fps w/o RT, lock it to a steady 30fps for RT, much more steady than a series S plus modding)
The RX6600 is the new RX580 i upgraded from that very same card and my performance and settings increase has just been so good. Games that I had to do custom presets to get the best while keeping above 60fps I can now just select Ultra and get above 60fps it's been great. And what's more the power draw is 100w compared to the 160-180w for the 580

I've never seen FSR without blur which makes it looks terrible basically everytime.
1440p with FSR On because it's just pretty much 1080p upscaled to 1440p and the 1080p with fsr on looks like a blurry trash.

I am interested in this card for my computer but I have a ryzen 7 2700 processor. Do you think I should buy it or does it make bottleneck?
It will be a little bit bottleneck
With this GPU the PERFECT cpu would be a ryzen 5 3600 as it is very cheap brand new and also it’s VERY powerful it has 0% bottleneck and in fact can handle up to a 3070 with only 3% bottleneck
If you play at 1440p then no problem. But in 1080p it may be a bottleneck.

@@JoseviEsp You can undervolt and increase performance in 6600 to give similar results to 6600 xt. Buying the Xt is just waste of money.

@@JoseviEsp If you have lots of budget than getting one of the top Nvidia cards is worth it.
Otherwise getting budget Nvidia cards just for DLSS and ray is actually a loss, since the performance is not that better than AMD's and you will still struggle to maintain 60 fps with Ray tracing on. Whereas with AMD, RT turned off, you are getting more fps than Nvidia in the same price bracket.

AMD has implemented Ray Tracing in some of its newer cards, like this one (which is a few years old already) but since its 1st iteration of RT, it runs like crap and not worth it.
Better you ignore it, even 3060 which is nVidia equivalent of this card, the RT isn't really worth it.
RT is still in its gimmick infancy. If you must have it you must pay the bleeding edge early adopters tax full stop. Best to just wait a couple gens before using it if it's still even a thing.
I bought rx 6600 with minimal research, just bought it since i saw it on sale, im glad people are saying its a good gpu for its price. my cpu is ryzen 5 2600x. Should i upgrade my cpu? As in, is my cpu bottlenecking my gpu at all?
its an absolute amazing gpu for its price!! and i think 2600x is gonna be fine u might see a bit of a bottleneck but if u do then just upgrade to r5 3600

Yes, at this point I'd hang on with the 2600x and save for a 5600x, that CPU can handle a new GPU upgrade
Play games at 1440p. If you playing at 1080p then upgrading cpu is required.
You can also reduce cpu related graphics settings like particle effects, lighting & shadows to reduce cpu usage but current gen games are cpu demanding. So it's better to upgrade cpu.
