It seems as though the whole 8 vs 12 doesn't really matter at 1080 and it's a safe purchase. Not many of the games were that close, but I guess future proofing does require the extra VRAM if that's what you're going for. Thanks for the video, really appreciated.

Rx 6600 has a 28 Ray tracing core , Same like a RTX 3060 , rtx and rx only different of Fiture , Nvidia has a DLSS 3.5 and If you use DLSS combo and Ray tracing , You will get better FPS than Using FSR 2.1 and RT , What you said about NOT SAME 🤔 and Why dlss better thar Fsr , because dlss more perfect fiture than fsr and For rx 6000 series ain't getting FSR 3.0 but for Rx 7000 already getting a FSR 3.0 more balance than 2.1 , Get more literation before saying anything , And NVIDIA RTX only branding and DLSS 3.5 is the prove why RTX better , But sorry i already using 4060 ti and FG is better than anything
I had six of these 6600XT but recently sold two as people were willing to buy them for an excellent price. Wanted to free up a spot in my systems for a future upgrade that will push cards around. Figure the market will get even better at some point so I didn't want to hold onto too many 6000 series cards. Good card just make sure to pair it with a Gen4 system or you will take not 1 but 2 performance hits due to the 8x bus on the card. Dropping from 16x Gen4 to Gen3 isn't huge deal but adding in a 8x bus on the card you are now running equivalent to 16x Gen2 speeds which is what 10yrs ago speed. If you have a Gen3 system just find a similar priced 16x card like a 3060 or 6700 non xt or xt. Some games are impacted much by the Gen3 spec but others are. Remember you take a double hit by dropping from Gen4 to Gen3. That's half bandwidth drop just by going to Gen3. Then you factor in it's not a 16x card but a 8x card and you halve your bandwidth potention again which is why it's the same as 16x Gen2 spec/8x Gen3 if you run a 6600xt on a Gen3 system. Just buy a 16x card as it will get enough bandwidth on 16x Gen3. Was just playing on one this evening with my wife on a 4k 60hz TV. It takes two at 60fps was looking great. My non gamer wife was actually impressed with the game and she normally HATES 3D motion sort of games. She likes Super Mario World so getting her to enjoy a modern game was quite the shock. I ran the game on High Detail no AA and I didn't experience any chop at 4k.
Quick question. What software are you using to display resolution, temps, and everything else on the screen? I have afterburner but it don't look at all like that
Yeah, thats basically it. AMD cards offer better value, but they are shit on RT - there is no point on using RT, when you use FSR Performance and still dont even get 60 fps. Even rtx 3060 can play with RT and DLSS Quality on good framerate. So its up what you prefer more.
True, but even 3060s rt performance is marketing. You need to use upscalling at 1080pto use rt, which means you are not even playing at 1080p while paying 300$ or more. I would rather play at 1440p with no rt than 1080p with dlss and rt.
@@brzimtrco6142 It depends i guess. I dont really see the difference between FSR/DLSS on/off (Quality preset), but again, i dont really see the difference between rt on/off most of the times.
@TheDado512 I can definitely tell when fsr is on even at 1440p. At 4K, if the implementation is good, then even perfromance is usable, but the fsr has issues with motion. When the image is static, it is crystal clear.
@@brzimtrco6142 Thanks, i need to look at this! I only used FSR1 on my GTX 970 and it did help with the frames. Not sure about the quality reduction though.

For the future, it's called RT, not RTX like nvidia makes people believe. RTX is branding. RT (ray-tracing) is the actual technology.
