      @@runningforviews Now that the race season is complete and fall and winter are approaching, this seems like the perfect opportunity to incorporate this plan. I took a few weeks off and now getting back into moderate running to maintain a base for upcoming spring training. The system “plan” seems to incorporate a 3 week cycle with a 1 week reduced load and intensity for recovery. Again thanks for your channel.

    Thanks for the wonderful and insightful video! Do you recommend supplementing with other training methods such as swimming or biking to help increase training volume? Or not so much? Thanks!

    Hi thanks for the content
    As a new runner have been running for 2 months before that sitting on the couch for 3 years.
    How long do you think I should stick to the base building phase?
    I am looking at a 25k trail race in February next year so lots of time should I stick to building base for the next 6 months or so?

    • @runningforviews
      @runningforviews  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This plan is even a bit much if you are just starting out. This is meant for maintaining base fitness but if you are just starting out then you should look at my 50k Training Plan for Beginners and do the first 5 weeks of that on repeat for a few months.

      @@runningforviews thanks I want to do this correctly and hopefully enjoy many years to come of running. I am looking at a 25 k in 12 months than aiming at a 50km trail race in 2 years. I will check out the 50k video
      Thanks again

      @@jamesgallagher3052 no problem! Just remember to ease your way into the sport. There’s no rush. Just slowly build up mileage month by month and you’ll be there in no time!
