He lent his God-given talent to Steve Perry's album For The Love Of Good Medicine.........what an incredible player! Thank God for giving us The Brewster.
Yes Lincoln Brewster is an amazing guitarist have you ever heard Rex Carrol from whitecross he was classicly trained man Got to see him live w/whitecross in the early 90's before the band went seperate ways the brother can jam
@Fishies125 I think he still is using it. I don't Know what he did to produce such great sound out of a line 6 Pod X3 Live. I believe he is also using a Boss Distortion or Blues pedal. At 2:26 he has the line 6 pod and a pedal.
@fishies125 well I am sure that's his Pod X3 live on the ground with his Boss OD3 he uses as a boost, sure looks it to me. I saw him in Nov 2010 and he still had the Pod, not sure what is up with his AxeFx setup I heard he went to...he would chuckle I think that u loved his tone but thought it wasn't his Pod.
That may be a way to do something similar, and this isn't meant to be in the box so to speak...but Lincoln does this typically by starting on 15th fret high e string, 14th fret b string, 13th fret g string....lick repeats same pattern starting over again on the b string till u end at low e string 13th fret, slide to 15th fret and ascend this pattern (16 fret A string and end on 17 fret D string). Most importantly this lick needs to keep that shuffle feel...good luck, not too hard, but the right
Does anyone know the two chords he plays between the main riff? Looks and sounds like a E7#9 (Hendrix chord) and then to an A7#9 both with some vibrato...any ideas?
This constantly surprises me, no matter how often I hear of it. His tone is buttery. I can't imagine anyone else pulling that sort of groove out of a Line 6 Pod, hehe.
All his overdrive comes from his Boss OD-3 pedal. Many guys use a Line 6 for spacial effects (chorus, reverb, delay) and switchable eq but guitarist are far too particular about overdrive tone to rely on the Line 6 for distortion.
@emankhan21 e-17 B-16 G-15 B-17 G-16 D-15 G-17 D-16 A-15 D-17 A-16 E-15 then from that last E on the 15, slide up to the 17(same low E string) and then play A-18 D-19. idk if ur a guitarist but i guess anyone can play w/ this. and play it with a shuffle feel

@natashamichelina - you can tell the true tone of his bass from this crappy video recording? Impressive.
SICK! That's all I gotta say

1:20 he looks like a thin version of Tony Iommi.
Hahahaha, he just needs an SG
@emankhan Phil Keaggy...:)
Didn't know Tony Iommi played bass...
3:46 i dig the lick. what technique?
Three note descending pattern; one note per string... He shows the exact lick on his instructional DVD, vol. 2
Where do you leave Paul Jackson jr.
I'd love to know what kind of guitar pedals he uses.
Believe it or not, Line 6 Pod X3 Live. :) You can even download his patches at his website.
This constantly surprises me, no matter how often I hear of it. His tone is buttery. I can't imagine anyone else pulling that sort of groove out of a Line 6 Pod, hehe.
The Stratocaster single coil neck pickup sound is a big part of it ( he actually uses Dimarzio noise cancelling pickups)!

A sound similar to MMW; but they're more Hammond B3.
it sucks after 4:47 ..
i think jaco will be a christian if he heard norm stockton
Chromatics??? LOVE BREWSTER THANKS TO THE LORD!
@AMH4brothers he looks pretty human

@AMH4brothers Wow, he's disguised himself as a human

Is that the part at 3:45?
That bass tone is hilarious!! Good player though.
@emankhan21 obviously you've never seen any christian hardcore bands then.......
i dont like the sounds of bass ..i dont know why.. heheheh
