In this video, I demonstrate how hackers manage to hack your discord accounts.
DISCLAIMER:
This video's sole purpose is to educate viewers about cyber threats and how to to stay safe on the Internet. Hacking anyone's digital accounts without their consent is a serious offense and you shouldn't do it.
In this video, I showcase two techniques that hackers use to steal your Discord tokens: Malicious Token Grabber, and QRL Jacking technique.
A token is a random value generated by Discord that will grant you access into your account. When someone steals your token, they can login to your discord account without your email and password. It's like a session ID that maintains your session on a web app.
If you watch this video completely, you can learn two lessons:
1. Do not download random files to your computer, even though it is sent by a person you know very well.
2. Do not scan QR codes from untrusted sources as you just saw how bad that can be.

I scanned something similar to this. Except, it was really worse. The hacker or bot posted hundreds of CP and gore to every server and person I knew. My entire childhood friendship collapsed, and I was bullied, threatened, and beaten when I was walking to class. There is more, but I would probably get tired writing all the horrific experiences I had from the event. Someone, somewhere decided to program such a script just to ruin people's lives for the shits and giggles. I can never recover from something like that.

If someone or something I have no idea of suddenly texts me to say I won free stuff and all, pretty much a scam.

There's some friggin notification exploit that allows the sender to attach some shit to the notifications, probably elixir underneath type of thing. It can spam the f. out of the notifications and lead to a buffer overflow in a browser or on the client. Not neccessarily something that can f up your system unless youre also using VoIP at the same time. Definitely a DDoS capabiity.
i just got hacked( litterally 2 hours ago) and he didnt steal my discord he stole everything my bank account and every social media. he wanted me to give him 50 bucks tho to leave me alone and i realized he didnt have the power to actually do anything (he showed me my passwords to everything) i changed my passwords everywhere and i think im fine now. also gonna go to the police tomorrow morning maybe il make a video about it

If he hacked your Gmail he can put in the old password and reset it to something else so is recommend to add a two step verification

No, u are the ignorant one here.... The incoming messages aren't written live by the hacker, so the hacker writes the code once and once they infect the first person the same pre-programmed message will automatically be sent all the possible contacts spreading like a worm and yeah I wouldn't personally fall for that but mass spamming everyone and at least like 1 out of 10 people will fall for that.... + it's a Python scriptä
nah most likely they would tell you "hey i just created a small server do you want to join? lets make this a big community!" and you will join and you may or not fall for the verify scam
but some have nitro so it can be tricky
this is why i remain vigilant with what im sent, no matter from whom, also the qr code scam can be avoided with some common sense, as discord WARNS YOU and asks if youre sure you want to log into discord via the qr code.
i need to protect myself against hackers. im so paranoid. about a year ago i was hacked by a russian guy and it was so traumatic. he peer pressured me so badly into downloading python onto my pc. lets just say he made me do explicit things or he would leak my address and sell my stuff on websites if i didnt do what he wanted. im so paranoid that its gotten to the point where i run firewall scans on my pc everyday and have a vpn on 24/7 and even then i dont feel safe on my pc. i always get the feeling of being watched and im just so scared.

A more convincing way of this is if they say they have a small server they want you to join free nitro is obviously a scam

Although those hacks are stupid and easili avoidable, they mostly target people who just fall for it, i just got tons of such nsfw links on my server and accidentally clicked on it (i haven’t scanned it of course)

Bro listen to me if you are a victim then let me tell you something, there is no way to get out of this situation, one thing you can do is reset your phone/pc and that's the only option my friend
@@PROFES50R Im happy to say, I was able to stop the hacker from accessing my account by deleting the discord app and resetting the password via gmail. It might be from luck due to the nature of the malware. Afterwards, I used an AV to rid of my system from malware. This all transpired within 24 hours of my databreach. I survived. Thank you for your tip.

im not sure perhaps they got their hands on your password, but as far as i know the token for your account gets reset every 24 hours and it is unique for every different account. I didnt fix it, I just waited for those 24 hours to end and he no longer could access my account, because the token expired.@@leooon165hz

Everytime i get a random link i usually ask what its about, and istg hackers are so sketchy when they talk. "Just click it, its free" as if their response wasnt obvious enough that its not your friend. Good thing i dont talk to my friends on discord only, so when i get some sketchy links i ask them about it on other apps/ in person

Don't join random accounts connections (connections like TH-cam on your profile etc..)
u can join connections from other profiles only if it has a verified badge on it if it doesnt i prefer to not click it

Reset your password. This will change your token

@@ar-qu3lr you need to figure out what the malware was and remove it from your pc. Also look at you startup programs and disable anything that looks suspicious or anything that you don't remember downloading. This will prevent any other info the get stolen. Then change all your details. Discord password. Email passwords etc
