I just got a friend request from someone who has their account credentials in their Discord about me. HOW STUPID DO YOU HAVE TO BE to put YOUR PASSWORD in your about me. Well I am going to punish this bozo by hacking into his crypto account and stealing all 2.6 million of his hard earned dollars.
But uhh..... I don't think things will go my way. Mayhaps perhaps perchance this could be a scam.

On the one hand, These are scammers
On the other hand, These are scammers who are targetting people who wanted to take money from someone who had their public details in their profile. Which is both stupidly obviously bait, and a scummy thing to do.
I'm beyond conflicted.
It's weirdly... genius. Those numbers can cause people to try it, out of curiosity. I actually thought the scam was entering the password and account for a sec... until NTTS pointed out the clickable link.
These scammers are really getting scary ngl
The person is scummy for trying to steal someone's money and fall into a trap but its a scummy on the scammers part for making the trap so both. The scammers and the person falling for it it scummy lol.
It is kind of like how my friend rats pedophiles to expose them, like i feel it is always wrong to rat but i also feel that they may deserve it

a good way to easily skip the ad (if you're on a browser on pc) is the extension sponsorblock
it's like an adblock but for sponsors, people telling you to subscribe, merch stuff, previews or recaps, intros, outros, and even filler content that isn't requiered for the main message of the video!
you can turn like a 20 minute LTT video with this to a 9 minute one!

Don't ever joke with emergency numbers in websites. The website will probably send a text message to the number and the emergency number will find out who put their number in the filling spot

this scammer was very common in Lightshot, where they try to make the user think they found a secret screenshot with someone's credentials

That is one of those scams where you need to pay an amount to withdraw unexistent money. Ive seen these on tiktok put they make you put a promo code and to withdraw you need to pay.
The same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago. I was so depressed and worried and lost $700 due to that scam. I wish I had seen this video before. What can be done now gone is gone

at this point, guardio can just sponsor your entire channel.
There are 2 situations for the setup:
1. They are trying to steal from you (as this vid shows)
2. They are idiots, but if it needs an actual card, then you can be tracked down and criminally charged with theft (this is a guess, i do not work in the law industry)
we know nobody is that dumb cmon, just dont click on any SUSSY websites because by just doing that they'll get a lot of info from you, like your ip and the browser youre using etc (info that could be sold)
@nolimit999er that definitely is true, but if needed, you can always use ways around revealing that stuff.
I personally know of a firefox extension that is specifically designed to spoof what your current client is + vpn's/proxy's

now you dont have to turn of friend requests from everyone in fear of being friended by scam bots or something because discord added a captcha to friending people and stuff. It will take a while for them to adapt because they will probably have to get people or pay for a service that bypasses captchas by doing them manually.

I think the scam sites are the same site just with several DNS entries, so you're talking to the exact same server through both addresses.
I almost fell for it(these types of scams are on tempotary phone numbers website where there is a sms with login details, website link and balance) but when it asked for a trade key, I instantly exited that website
50 $ wouldn’t have worked. Look at the vip transfer limits. To transfer those >2000000 $ form Jayden’s account you’d need at least vip7 which needs like 2000$. It’s even worse but explains the big transfers

Seen this scam in a dm of some hacked twitter account, finally I know what the goal after this scam is
The funny thing is it is fishy from the start. Their name is 'Check my bio' (Strike one, really), despite the only thing in their bio being supposedly only visible to them
the scammers can also collect the passwords and try to login into your mail account,if this fails, they can start trying to send you scam emails.
the noise at 11:30 caught me off-gaurd
I've seen a similar scam on pastebin where there would be random bins with login info and a random url. The website would say the account has like 35k btc or something and you need to pay $50 btc to "cash out"
Just for curiosity, I scanned the urls with VT and 11 and then 15 security vendors flagged it as malicious and phishing 8D

If that captcha issue happens, depending on the page you can click the description text input field and Ctrl-z (undo) on it.
It usually works if the page did not refresh, but It's easy to try and saves you some itme if it does.
I used to have a malicious browser extension that I couldn’t get rid of because of a bunch of adware on my pc (around 25k files). I installed the trial of malware bytes and it saved me

Ngl, I fell for this scam myself. It was a different looking website, but instead of discord they "had their profile information texted to them using a temporary phone service". I was trying out the phone service for something else when I came across this. Got blinded by greed rip $150. Wasnt even mad because I was being scummy
