"That Pike thing we aren't supposed to talk about" AWESOME REFERENCE God, I love how much the Star Treck shows like to intertwine and reference each other. Thank you so much for not acting like that crossover never existed))
I guess Temporal Investigation must had a hell of fun with their story. Because unlike the Sisko story, Mariner and Boimler literally became PART of history.
@@acmenipponair Well, to be fair, with Sisko, it was an entire ship that got displaced so keeping it quiet was probably not possible. With Boimler and Mariner, it was just the two of them (Plus Tendi and Rutherford as witnesses) who time traveled so it wasn't an issue. And Sisko and the Defiant did bring tribbles back with them. So there was a valid reason for Temporal Investigations to step in. Alternatively, it could be argued that Temporal Investigations only investigate when they detect a temporal disturbance. I don't think Predestination Paradoxes count. But who knows? Pike did record the time traveling pair in his logs so Temporal Investigations may have just checked off a box and moved on. Finally, it's possible something did happen behind the scenes that we don't know about.
I love that moment when Ransom says something in Kayshon's language and gets a fistbump for it. I just dig the idea that Ransom would make that kind of effort to make Kayshon feel more welcomed. Also it is so funny when Mariner geeks out about anything. So her reaction to Voyager was hilarious.
You wonder in Star Trek? Why can the safety protocols even be turned off? Also, does that mean you could when the safety protocols are off impregnate a holo woman?

Gotta admit, of all the Lower Deck episodes THIS is the one I look forward to SF Debris reviewing the most given his... interesting relationship with Voyager.
When you think about it Janeway did Alot of evil sh!t while in the Gamaquadrant and by that i mean many of the first contact moments where she started the confrontation which made starfleet look like, i sorry but thats my opinion, Ferrangi in the eyes of tge moast of the quadrent.
She's referring to the Lower Decks / Strange New Worlds crossover episode where she and Boimler time-travelled back to Captain Pike"s Enterprise and appeared as live action actors.
Voyager is my 2nd least favorite series, but I say this with full offense "Cope & Seethe". Lower Decks embracing all of Trek , warts and all is a delight.
@@yellowprime8491 yeah but is all ready did 2 full episode about Voyager in this series! Which series could have possibly been worse then Voyager!? 6 good episodes out of 7 seasons and 72 terrible episodes!? How!? I banged the entire Voyager series back to back so I know, and mean it when I say the worst one!
I'm curious, which six were good? I watched the whole series a few years ago after a friend mentioned it had the same premise as Battlestar Galactica. My impression was there were no, as in literally zero, good episodes. The only one that even came close was the one with the Ferengi.
@@jonathanwalter9618 I had a Tally board with me. I don't remember the actual episodes. But I remember my favorite was the one Chacote met the collective ( the communist borg rebels.)
I love how Freeman smiles when her daughter gets excited about Voyager.
One of Ransom's best lines, "It's Voyager. Shit got freaky." If you know, you know.

I do love the nod to how Voyager's inertial dampners barely ever functioned.
"The most beautiful work of art in Starfleet history."
That it is, sir. That it is.
I lost it with the clarinet-playing macrovirus..
"Safety Protocols set to: Random"
Why would that even be a feature? 😂
I laughed at this comment WAY too long! 😂😂😂
Why not? Are you saying you dont want random danger?
You wonder in Star Trek? Why can the safety protocols even be turned off? Also, does that mean you could when the safety protocols are off impregnate a holo woman?

Wait mariner is not a minor
@@Tryagainnextno I think they mean minor as in small, like a small complaint or something

That'll be the most passionate kiss Mariner will ever get in the series.
Sadly :(
There's still season 5. Let's see how this comment ages.
3:50 As a credentialed museum conservator and curator, can I just say that is absolutely NOT TRUE?
You're telling me that if you had the option to add fully interactive historical figures into an exhibit, you wouldn't?
Even with Neelix no longer there on board, his cooking is still making people sick.
Watching reruns of Voyager before school was how I got into the Star Trek franchise
Just hearing that theme music alone puts a smile on my face

I would recommend you search for a ST reviewer named SFDebris. His "Evil Janeway" voice is something to behold.
Er, Delta quadrant, not the Gamma quadrant, that was DS9's thing...
