That's really not Uhura. Nothing to do with her. Isn't it weird that "correct" skin colour is the main requisite but nothing else counts? So what's the deal? A character is Afro-something snd ...boom.. you recreated a character? (I personally don't care at all but if one looks closely the skin is not even thr same.)

I love how even though Tendi's mom clearly holds the power in their great house, her dad is closest to her personality and is clearly where she gets her excitable temperament from. I'd honestly love to have seen more of the two of them bonding as father and daughter, since she and her mom clearly disagree on a lot.

I love that Lower Decks turned the Pakleds into the Orks of Star Trek. Most of their ‘Tech’ works because they force it to.
