yea the tongue thing was annoying, but they've fixed that with the newer models. if boardfeel is one thing you can't sacrifice but want a little more support, these are perfect.
Mine blew the toe out in 3 weeks. I’m still skating them but it affecting my tricks at this point so I’m about to swap out. I’m not really sure about the hype on these. Guess it depends on the skating style but they didn’t work for me.
Jumpin'Eagle I think, I'm not sure about this but I think, he had the ultracush lite before and the Kyle walkers come with ultracush hd. Also, the outsole on the Kyle walkers is pretty thick and comfortable, so that could be something that changed his opinion

I'd just like to say that while I like these shoes, they are not for every type of foot. My feet felt constrained in them and I ended up switching sizes multiple times (made sure not to actually skate with them but break them in enough to where I could return if they didn't fit). Feet always felt numb no matter how they were laced. I can tell they are good shoes and would completely recommend them, just make sure they feel good on your feet before buying them.
I know this is gonna be a bit annoying but can you try the OG Janoksi , I have had my canvas pair for over 5 months and it looks like the Kwalks after two months, I'm not kidding , it's one of the most durable shoes I've tried

I like this shoe a lot but not for skating, very bulky for a vans shoe. I prefer vulcs so if you like cupsoles this is more for you
Im skating the chima furgersons at the moment. very comfortable and surprisingly good to skate in once they are broken in.
