Graham's excitement - she mentioned "the incident" and he knew exactly what she was going to say
his excitement makes me laugh so much XD
@@millyboop2047 her: so there was this incident in the early 00s...
Graham: *starts slamming chair* ITS SO GOOD
He made me smile so big he’s so cute 😂
@@adonaiyah2196 😅😅😊😊😊😅
I thought she was going to talk about the ra or something
turns out nadine was 16 pretending to be 18 just because of how bad she wanted to perform on the show but the caption makes it sound WAY WORSE
I did the same to work overnights at an IHOP 😂 it's not like you're trying to do anything nefarious. Just get work
I instantly assumed it was like her pretending to be 24 when she was actually 38
Awww it was the difference between meeting the show requirements or not. Oops!
Calling it an "Irish scandal" is clearly a joke. He even writes "sips tea" afterwards. They think it is funny, not terrible that she forgot her fake date of birth.
@@olashrf same here
“On camera. YES!” SHE LOOKS SO ADORABLE AAHHH
Her lady whistledown came out lol 😂
I'm sorry I can't get over how she pronounces Gemini, I love it😭
Finally someone's saying "Gemini" as I am. I always heard American say it as Jay-me-ny. But I always say it as Jay-mini.
@Dystopian Space Saga yes. That's what I'm trying to say but don't know how to spell it out 😂😂
Yeah that was really gross.
Sounds a bit Like germany
@@desmon6781 its jem-in-eye in America 😊
I remember this moment so well, I actually loved Nadine and was raging when she was kicked off, but it worked out better for her since six went nowhere
SAME! I was pure fuming 😂🤦🏼♀️ Very happy that she had that iconic moment in history though, and ended up with a great career 😂👏🏻
@@TallulahFoxxxShe LIED and yall wanted her to be rewarded for it??? 😂
@@laurencameron3150 oh please, it wasn’t that serious. Lighten up lol.
“TH-cam IT!! It’s soo good!” 😂
anybody have the proper youtube link to what they're talking about?

This feels like a live Lady Whistledown moment lol
Seriously, that role was made for her
Too true! 😂
It so does
I was just thinking that! So true
An iconic moment in Irish history
Wtf TH-cam, had to rate your comment. Gave it an excellent. 10/10 would rate again.

What about U2
Sometimes you can't make it on your own
Or Galway girl by Ed Sheeran
Graham’s excitement is EVERYTHING 😂
I'm surprised quite a few commenters have never heard the term "noughties" when refering to the 2000s
I haven't! I wasn't sure even what she said until I saw the comment 😊 maybe it's a European thing?😊
Nobody can decide what to call it. I call it early two thousands
It's gotta be a European thing. We're over here saying early/mid/late "two thousands" or "thousands." Naughties is way cuter and a little frisky 😏
some people say noughties in new zealand too
The aught years in America.
Mila Kunis was 15 when she was casted for that 70s show when they were supposed to be casting 18year olds. She said she was turning 18 but didn't specify when. 🤣 Genius!
iirc she specifically said ”i’ll be 18 on my birthday”
14
Yeah, and then she had pedophilia men in their 20s kissing her... Real genius. I hope you never have girls..
Yep she was 15 making out with 18 year old Ashton Kutcher. Little weird 😕
Actually she was younger
It’s a treat seeing Nicola and Graham try to out-Irish each other!
wait what graham is irish wtf
@@oliviersavard8676 yes he is Irish, he like to pretend he's English tho
@@kittykins-magee nah he's much better now that he's gotten older. But he was overlooked for being Irish a lot so he didn't yell it.
To be fair to my American self Nicola is winning the accent
@@oliviersavard8676he is in FATHER TED, he is from Cork ffs.
I need another season of Derry girls. It’s one of my favourite series.
Was a good ending though
I agreee i loved it
I think it's better to be left wanting more than to have it overly drawn out, though. That would be the risk of having another series
It’s coming out october for Netflix! At least for US date
Agreed!!
I love the way she talks. Her accent. She's so well spoken. And Graham getting excited was priceless. So funny.
She is from Galway Ireland 🇮🇪
Graham turning into a flapping baby seal out of pure excitement is just too adorableeee 🤭🤭🤭🥰🥰🥰
graham is honestly such a fun host, he always feels like he's a part of the cast
I don't think you know what _cast_ means. That's quite *literally* what he is.
@@louspowels7120
very cool.
I think you call that a legend. He most definitely is 👊
She's literally whistledown IRL and I LOVE IT!!!!!
Why do I have to rewatch this ever few weeks? It is just so charming, I can’t help but smile.
It’s the accent, she could’ve been confessing to a murder and I would’ve been like “wow 🥺 every word you say is like butter talk some more.”
its so good"
Her eyes are unreal, they’re the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen
I second Graham's comment ,
'So good '!! So 👍 good !!!
I can't find it on TH-cam but I wsnn see it, any tips?
Nicola is so charming and talented! I’m starting to really like her.
Her personality is up the roof!!!!She also has nice skin and beautiful!!!!
"The early naughties" and I will never call it anything else now lmmfaooooo
RIGHT???
Zeros' as in zero talent... thanks Cowell!!
SAME
Can someone explain why it's called this? I am teaching my brains here 🙈
@ the number zero often gets called naught and it was also a play on the word naughty too - they were trying to be clever... and it stuck with all of the numpties (& there are quite a lot of them).
I love how excited Graham gets when he realises what Nicola is talking about 🤣
I can't believe that I've been sleeping in the term Notties for the early two thousands.
American English usually uses “aughts” and UK English usually uses “noughties”
@@charlottelogan8627 I love how those still clearly have the same source
@@charlottelogan8627 I've never heard anything but the naughties ir "two thousands" in the US
Same! I like JUST learned the term early aughts like 2 years ago and this is even better than that
@@charlottelogan8627 HUH.. . .I've never heard a modern American use the term 'ought' for zero.
We say early 2000s or early 21st century. Or late 1900s.
That hair almost made me think it was Jennifer Lawrence for a split second.
Yes
I think TH-cam thinks it is too! 😂 I've been watching shorts of Jennifer Lawrence 😂😭
Who is it tho. I’m curious
Love how she calmed everyone down and brought the attentions back on her with a simple "okay"
Everytime this clip comes up I have to watch it all the way through. Something about it is so addictive
I wonder how many people looked up that video after seeing this 😂
I couldn't find it 😞
@@karenpost710 type nadine coyle lies about age, I've just watched it!
everyone?
If that was considered a "scandal" then you guys are doing pretty well.
It was a scandal when Riley Weston got found out as well.
Yh like she said it was the first
“Pop culture” is the term you missed.
Iconic! Lol she then fainted while she said she was gonna get her passport, cause the manager or producer asked for it 😂
Oh she's the Bridgerton sister! I thought her face was familiar!
She's not. She's a Bridgerton's sister best friend.... specifically she plays Penny who is Eloise best friend
@@ChelX Either way they are both adorable
@@ChelX she is one of the sisters in season one, just a different family than Eloise.
Nope, not a Bridgerton. Her role is a Featherington daughter.
Well unless you want to call her a Bridgerton sister in law... Since she marries Collin.
Nicola is literally so iconic. I adore her and all she does.
The Nadine story will ALWAYS be legend!!! So , so Brilliant!!! ❤️
i love how she says “jay-man-ee” i love irish peoples accents
I understand why but not seeing everyone cozy on the couch together 😭 missing those vibes
Love the Irish accent oh I wish I could visit that beautiful country.
Grahams sheer delight at the mention of the Nadine incident should give you an idea just how juicy a moment it was back then!
I will watch this every time it comes in my feed. It's even better after I watched the actual scene they are talking about.
I SWEAR THIS SHOW IS JUST TEA TIME AND SPILLING THE TEA AND GOSSIPING
The show is the most perfect thing ever. I can't wait til a new season
It’s so funny the way she’s telling the story when it comes to the part of the date of birth
Nicola's pop culture knowledge deserves an honorary PhD
Sometimes, when I watch like British tv talk shows, I feel like I’m having a fever dream.
“TH-cam it” hes like my mom
Oh my gosh, I love her accent so much
GEM-IN-EEE
😭😭😁
She will forever be my favorite
Really wanted her to say “It only has about 50 entrants cos, you know, we have integrity.”
Im also a Gemini (love how it’s pronounced lol) and I’m thankful for the caption here 🙊
Graham acts exactly as I do when someone brings up a favorite scandal to people who don't know if! 🤣
This reminds me of how Mila Kunis was 15 when she auditioned for That 70's Show and said she was 18 to get the part
She was 14 even!
@@msEJJ01 oh no. I was off by one number call the cops 😱🤣
she said she would be 18 on her birthday , didn't say which birtday
@@Jas-cn3hl I was saying it cause it’s even younger not because I wanted to point out you were wrong
Massive Girls Aloud fan here and there’s nothing I don’t love about this clip. A pop culture moment. An icon is our Nadine
Who else is stuck in the never ending loop of The Graham Norton show 👀
yup 😂😂
it’s been years and you’re still leaving this same exact comment on every graham norton video…guess u really are stuck huh
Dude, you should get some time off of yt. I bet you can't even remember what fresh air smells like
@@devlijtigemier Or... the fact that these are copy pasted words means they don't take any time at all to type... (this reply took longer to type then the message you're mad about... LOL
I've gotten out, but it ain't easy!
I love hearing Irish and Scottish when they talk...every words sounds unique♥️🥰🌹
She is so beautiful
I adore his so much his so pure!!! And he makes me laugh especially if i have a bad day! Thank you Graham Norton!!!
Mila Kunis in the U.S did something similar. She was only 16 or 17 when she acted on “that 70’s show” but lied about her age. The only difference is that she never outted herself until after the show was over. You can still watch the show its good.
She was 14 when filming and 15 when it aired I think.
Derry girls is such an underrated show. One of my favorites.
Now I need to heard Gemini like this all the time
This is my cocomelon, everytime this clip finds me i have to watch it in its entirety
Lady Whistledown 💜

Claudia is so invested in the story I’m HERE FOR ITTTTTT
So true yh 👌
“15th of the 6th” lmao … why do they say it like that i was like wait wtf did she say???😂😂
Why didn't she just say June?
It's a common way of saying the date in Ireland
Can i just say, i LOVE Nicolas clothes and whole look. Her and and makeup and clothes she looks amazing!!❤
so 2000s are "naughties"?
Well, actually the ‘noughties’, however yours is funnier😉
You've not heard this?
Yes, the decade starting with '00. Zeros, meaning nothing, naught. "Naughties" is kind of a fun pop colloquialism, and from what I gather, referring to the decade as the "aughts" is slightly more accurate, but either works. It just means zero. It's in the dictionary.
@@tabularasa it's "nought". It's in the proper dictionary.
@@kb5509 "naught" versus "aught"? They're both correct. Or are you only talking about spelling? Again, they're both correct, naught or nought.
I have watched this so many times and it’s still good. I love when it shows up on my feed lol
I've watched and read this several times and still have no idea why what the other lady did was wrong.
Nadine had to be 18 in order to compete and was only 16, which was revealed when she gave her real birth year
Graham’s reaction me when I get hyper focused or excited abt something 😂😂😂😂
Pile 2- Aquarius and he does make me feel shy lmao because his energy is completely different from what I’m used to lol
Lmao wrong video 🤣
but as an Aquarius myself Think I'd choose Pile 2 too
Her face is so beautiful she’s got such harmony in her features
Early…. Noughts? Is that what she called the 2000’s? That’s kinda cool
She said noughties ^^
@@Mx0mo I like it
We have been saying this in the uk since, erm, well since the noughties 😄
"Mekking me a Geaa-mini !" Classic !
I have never heard anyone say their birthday as the “15th of the 6th” before 👀
Could you be an American by chance?
@@ambitiously_ yes. But I’ve lived in a few other countries and have still never heard it said that way.
It's how we say it in Ireland.😊
Graham getting excited is pure entertainment value.
AWESOME AMAZING FANTASTIC
Not Graham got excited when Nicola did Nadine’s Derry accent 😂
Omg that was SO funny hahaha
you remind me of my English teacher because I’m pretty sure she was also Irish. She’s a great woman. Helped me get through high school. I miss her already.
Ok looking at Grahams excitement, now I gotta TH-cam this!
Early naughts is now how I wanna call the early 2000s 😂😂
I remember it and it’s still unfair that cheats do well.
I mean, Nadine Coyle is a phenomenal vocalist, and she did get kicked off. She did well later on following the rules, so I don't really think what happened was unfair?
She got kicked out haha
She looks sooooo young. My mouth dropped when I realized she was my age. Gorgeous.
Early not-ies. Never heard it called that haha
I’ve never heard of that time referred to as anything else but the early noughties (nought being another word for zero)? Maybe it’s an Irish thing?
You can tell she is a tea sipper in fiction and reality lol. I love it
Even with the subtitles I had to watch this about 7 times to full hear and understand what’s going on.
I like just hearing her talk. I could listen to that accent all day 😍

What I came to the comments for.
Graham slapping his knees in pure Irish excitement😂❤
This is was the first big Irish pop scandal I remember oh my GODDD it was everything 😂😂 I love how excited she is to the the story and Graham can’t wait 😂
Oh my gosh her accent 😍😍😍
The series was incredible I was sorry that there wasn’t another season ❤❤❤❤❤
So funny when she called her mum to try and try to wiggle out of it 😅😂
Thank goodness for the captions on this 😂
I love that Graham is so excited! I'm Irish and I remember seeing this years later.
I JUMPED WHEN SHE SAID NADINE STOP IT
I visited London a couple weeks back, and learned about “the early noughties” it sounds much more fun than “the early two thousands”. I’m gonna start saying it 😅 hopefully it catches on here in the US
SHE NAILED THAT ACCENT
Well that’s 30 seconds I will never get back ever again
Good.
If you look it up its not that exciting BUT if you put on the subtitles - priceless 😂😂😂
