Drive to Banff | Alaska Winter Trip

On a few day's notice, we decided to drive on this first-time Alaska winter trip in late December.
How do you plan such a trip?
We started by making shortlists of notable places to see and things to do within an allotted three-week trip time.
Banff was the first major stop along our journey.
Now we just needed to get there.
