You rarely stop to take in the environment and music when you’re grinding and playing the game at a rapid pace. It’s good to take that time once in a while to take it all in
Thank you with all my heart for making this, this is the best chill mix for us vets who don't play the game anymore, ahh the feels. Thank you for making something so underrated yet so special, the animated background is just the icing on the cake.
This music gives me lots of nostalgia, remembering how I was amazed when I played on the moon for the first time, how the game was so simple and I kinda want to replay it now 🥲😭
Notice how in the Ghosts of The Void (Ambient/Out-Of-Combat), the violins are played in reverse. The notes -the melody- is correct, but the sounds used to make it AREN'T, like someone speaking backwards into a recording, and reversing it to get the words sounding correct again. It's representative of the Void, and how it's acausal, a world out of time, a world *without* time. Like tachyons experiencing time in reverse, flowing backwards from their destination towards their emission source. Effect before cause.
I've been away from the game for months or maybe even years now (came back for a bit to get that New War quest going and then left shortly after), but man this feels like home to me. Especially the Void's ambient at the start, newer players will never understand the feeling of farming for Loki's helmet 4 hours straight with your brain going numb pressing a single button over and over again just to get a few hundred plats...
This might sound cheesy, but 36:40 makes me feel like a true Tenno. One that has been just lost and feels some reassurance with an holographic projection of Lotus after a hard day out in the real world. This is by far the most beautiful piece of music of all Warframe for me, gives me the chills.
Warframe and DE got some bad rep as off lately - buggy content, not fully fleshed out frames (many forgot, but Protea and Xaku both needed rather large re-adjustements) and Regal Aya. BUT their soundtrack still hits home.
Honestly, Warframe knew what it was when it first came out. Dark, mysterious, and the Orokin was some kind of Ancient Roman style empire, with similar designs and music. Even the first prime Warframes (Excalibur, Mag, Rhino, Nyx, Frost, etc.) look different than new ones, because the style of the game was different then. I love where Warframe is now, but it's old style's still different stuff

Idk why I havent played warframe in a long time for almost a year and a couple months now this first likr 4 songs almost make me shed a tear.
